Great video. Just found the Sta Green 20-0-0 at my local Lowes. I understand how you are weighing out the granular but how do you figure out what spreader setting to use?

Honestly for the most part I go by feel. I start relatively low, like maybe 3, and see how it feels. After that I'll bump it up if need be. As long as I cover all areas with the appropriate weight I'm happy. I typically end up on setting 5

Hey Jay check out garage gear KZfaq video on the Echo RB60 mods where he shows a 3D printed bigger agitator his friend at Mirror image coating he made for him and Dustin the guy from mirror image coating is selling it for $20 shipped I just got mine from him within three days and what a huge difference no more rocking the spreader side to side to get all the fertilizer out. JB will show three mods you can do to the Echo RB60. I hope this helps and check it out.

My Timemaster has the bigger engine. Just bought it for $800 with less than two seasons on it. It was as if they guy never used it. Power isn't an issue with deep grass as long as it is not wet. But what absolutely sucks is the small fuel tank. I have to refuel 3-4 times when cutting the lawn once.

Pick up some Rustaid at Lowes or Home Depot and use a chemical sprayer and.hit those rust spots on your concrete. Let it sit for 5 minutes and pressure wash it off. The rust stains will be gone

Its safe for the grass. If you spray the concrete and rinse it off the concrete it wont evect the grass. No need to dilute either

It's been a tough year for lawns. I did a front yard reno this spring with TTTF and it's starting to look really good. I did have an issue with 10% of my grass not growing due to poor sprinkler coverage. So I had to scramble to throw more grass seed down in the summer and adjust my water coverage. I will be spraying for nutsedge next week because it's starting to get out of control.

@NyTonyF I keep hearing and seeing amazing things when it comes to Artimuss. I want to try it in the front but I might also consider using the Heatwave mix from Grass Pad and the Kansas Excalibur Blend from Lesco/Site One. I'm torn lol

You should upgrade your Blade brake clutch parts to the Turfmaster ones. Pretty much a bolt-in. Might need to switch one bolt for a longer one and add a nut & washers. Since then I have never had all the worn v-belt issues I used to have. My Kohler CV224 has run great for the past 3 years. With that filter my oil still looks clean at the end of the season! (Only mowing my property though!) I don't waste my money on the expensive Kohler filters & oil though....WIX, Oregon, Briggs all have compatible oil filters, and any good synthetic oil of proper viscosity (with a touch of added ZDDP, if desired) is all that is needed to keep that puppy happy.

I have to point out that most of these videos on KZfaq talking about baby shampoo….they never show the AFTER. You did and hats off!! Going to be applying this to my lawn tomorrow. Thought I had grubs despite treating and I don’t. Soil is just hydrophobic in the dry patches.

To be honest, the after blend clip was on accident. I didn't actually realize how well it worked until I did the editing. Before dumping a bunch of money on products that are expensive, I try to find the cheaper option if I can. If it didn't work, we'll at least I tried. This is one of those things I'm glad I tried the cheaper option first. Thanks for watching!

Watching you clean the deck and around the engine block.I'm curious.Is it okay to do that even if you're not gonna tear down everything and paint it? Like , would it hurt anything if I did a low powerwash is that ok?

I think you would be ok. I would be careful with a pressure washer around the spindle bearings but other than that you should be ok. I would just throw a bag around the engine just to be safe

I use Sta Green Performance Max 30-0-3 LAWN FERTILIZER (granular) and the result is EXCELLENT. Dark green - like an outstanding golf course! I also use Sta Green Performance Max 25-0-3 WEED & FEED (granular) and the result is also EXCELLENT! Weeds won't dare to pop out and I finally get a weed-free, dark green mini golf course!

Oh I missed the feetilizer vs weed and feed comparison. I'm pretty sure I've seen the 30-0-3 at lowes newr me before. Probably a competitor to the Scott's Green Max which I've used before with great results.

Here's a more recent video showing the stripe kit. It's essentially 3" pvc filled with sand and test caps on the end with a piece of 1/4x20, all thread for the axle, unistrut for the frame and L brackets to attach it to the timemaster.

How is your Ryobi sprayer holding up? I have a handheld 2 gallon sprayer that's 5 years old and I'm thinking I need to replace it. I use other Ryobi products so I have plenty of batteries.

If you already have batteries I would say go for it. For the price it’s a good sprayer with very few cons. Sometimes you’ll catch yourself shifting from side to side to get the last little bit of product out of the tank, but I think a lot of backpack sprayers have that problem. It’s been holding up well and I haven’t had any malfunctions as of yet

Since mine were shot I just tapped them out with a screwdriver and a hammer. To put them back in I just tapped then in GENTLY with a block of wood and a hammer

I'm not very familiar with st augustine but from what I've seen, the most common way to introduce new cultivars is by adding plugs or sprigs. St Augustine spreads via stolen and ryzomes, so it should spread out on its own over time. I would say the best time to do this would be in the summer since you have a warm season grass. For further info, I would recommend checking out the Lawn Care Nut. He knows way more about warm season grass than ill ever know! Thanks for watching!
