Amen. Thank you. I totally understand and was the point I was trying to make. I'm old school and have worked 60 hour weeks to pay bills and have nice things. Modern young people need to be told the key to getting the things they want. Hard Work no shortcuts. This car was a major purchase for me 20years ago and a lot of sacrifices was made. Yes very reliable!!!! It can be driven from California to Pennsylvania and back with zero issues while operating the cold A/C in the heat of the day. But you won't pass up very many gas ⛽️ stations without stopping. lol

It's sad that this crime has been so prevalent lately. Our state has taken the lead to make it safer by just signing into law the penalty of a life sentence for those crimes with no age restrictions on the offender so minors aren't immune to it. @@MoparMan1what’s your thoughts on the recent changes , that ram / dodge won’t be making v8s anymore and the new cars will be v6 or electric ? Makes me sad I was fixing to buy a hemi , dodge used to be known for making powerful engines , it’s a bad change

It makes me sad. Stellantis didn't have any respect for our American 🇺🇸 V8 heritage or culture that's been part of our history from the farm trucks to the family car to the race tracks on Friday nights. I'm a serious third generation Mopar guy and it's so sad. That's why I plan to hold on to my V8's. I'm sure I won't have any choice but to get an electric vehicle but it won't be by choice and I will never be without a gasoline ⛽️ V8 engine.

"The 'uni-brow' steel cross brace (1) that connects to the bottom of the front bumper brackets is common to all 1970 Chargers & Coronet models when equipped with the M81 option for front bumper guards or the M85 option on Coronets that included front & rear bumper guards." Thank you teaching me something new about these cars. I never knew bumper guards were an option on Mopar muscle cars but you're absolutely right it was an option that a person could have ordered on the '70 Charger but not sure if it was an available option on the R/T model. The car was restored back to its original form just as it came from the factory. The bumper guard was not an option on its original window sticker. We meticulously documented everything including the SAE stickers you see in the engine compartment. This car never came with a bumper guard. Awesome!!!! You're going to be so happy when it's done. If you need any help finding parts I'd be happy to share all my research and sources I found putting mine together. If I were you I would definitely start finding your small interior pieces, especially the correct carburetor, glasses etc now because those pieces are fast becoming extinct and unobtainable. I'm a real purist and strive to put them back down to the tires/wheels just like they came from the factory unless it's a period correct piece like the tires/wheels on my Super Bee. @@MoparMan1 I prefer factory correct when possible. Restored my 72 SE twenty plus years ago,so glad I outgrew my 80s chrome pipe dreams by that time and dld stock resto including the GA4 lt gunmetal that was hated at the time.

I love those '72 SE Chargers. My uncle had one when I was a kid. I'm a purist also. I try to keep them all looking like they came from the factory.
