You are remarkable!!!! I saw maggots on the machine and the finished product is just remarkable. Congrats. I wonder how much people would pay to have this done?

Hi, I'm from Argentina. My grandmother was left a widow with a child during the '50. The only reason why they didn't end up homeless was because she was given a Singer sewing machine by one of Evita Peron social programs. That sewing machine allowed her to feed my mother and survive. It's still on my house and it has now taken family heirloom status. This video made me emotional

This is indeed one of the best restoration I've watched so far. And I must say I'm a bit jealous because it seems that it works better and smoother with this old age sewing machine than the new one I bought 10 years ago.. 😂

I was looking for something calm to watch as I can’t sleep. I saw this and was like, oh yeah, a restoration video, they are usually pretty relaxing… proceeds to BASH the actual living SHIT out of this antique sewing machine for the first 10 minutes hahahaha 10/10 amazing, would watch again hahaha

I learned to sew on my Grandma’s treadle sewing machine. I’m quite sure it was a Singer. This was fascinating to watch! My Grandma was born in 1898 in Kansas. The knowledge and workmanship you have is absolutely incredible.

I still have a treadle machine still in its oak case, it lives under the stairs😂,still comes out occasionally to be used, when my modern machine cannot cope, works beautifully, still has the booklet, and all the accessories, it belonged to my mother in law, and before that a neighbour, she said it was the last singer treadle machine made in england. Weighs a ton , needs two people to move it, still a family treasure.
