You don't draft top 14 for a role player...you draft top 8 for a star and top 2 for a superstar

Luka has that rare injury that only pops up when things aren’t going well for him. Rare because only certain guys get the convenient “he’s injured” excuse. When things are going well buddy is skipping up the court cooking guys. He plays poorly and all of sudden the injury flares up. Must be nice.

I actually don't see trades coming. The value of the picks is too low compared to what teams will be looking for.

For a contender, a proven player is what you want, not some prospect that might be

Fire these clowns. They don't know basketball. Verno especially. He works on stupid narratives. He refuses to actually analyze performance....KOC used to along time ago but has been subsumed by the entertainment narrative side of it all. These guys aren't talking basketball....they are talking scenarios with nothing to provide a foundation. Sports media needs a shake up.

Everyone at the ringer who actually picked the Mavs before the series....with 2 one dimensional stars to beat the Celtics full of two way stars should be fired. Immediately. The Mavs third best player was PJ washington. Meanwhile Celtics had Jrue. Derek White. How the hell do you say you know basketball....ESPN too should fire everyone who perpetuated stupid narratives. Of a team that only lost 2 games in the playoffs. Fire them all.

Luka and Dallas are outmatched, everyone can see it. Boston have been the best team all season and are playing the most cohesive team ball that they have all season. Sure they left the door ajar, but they have responded to Miami, Cleveland, Indy and will now shut is down in game 4.
@Lord_Clarke19 сағат бұрын
The Celtics got called for more fouls than Dallas so saying Boston was allowed to play more physical is just completely wrong. Also Luka should've been fouled out they let him get away with murder and he should've been called for a tech a bunch of times.
@15awesomehighfive20 сағат бұрын
Yeah, who would think being an overweight, beer-chugging white dude isn't the best thing for playing basketball at a high level for 4 quarters. Boston got away with their indolent, hero-ball, stop-passing-the- ball lapses. It just seems like a bunch of dudes who are forced to eat their vegetables and hate playing the way they are the most successful.

This Celtics team is a great TEAM. Despite what looks easy history will have to pay respect to this team.

Yes because the east was so stacked all year and giannis dame butler josh for angamr delon and jaime then mitchell jarrett caris haliburton mathurin embiid sorta and the knicks entire roster didn't get hurt same for kawhi...yes the celtics really managed to beat great teams this year...

There’s a play at 6:18 in the third where he is barely WALKING when they have the ball and then off a miss he turns and just points at Tatum who is running down for an easy dunk.

Cody williams is the guy i would take 2nd in this draft...not saying he will become kawhi or butler or jaylen but he can impact a game the way they all did when they were young without needing the ball and he has the body type you need to succeed in the playoffs...he can become a good scorer and he is efficent...he isn't a one on one guy but he has the tools...

Edey doesn't work with the Raptors style of play. The Raptors are a transition team. So how how does cement footed Edey work with that style of play? Once you get past the fact that Edey is Canadian, there is no reason they should be looking in his direction at all. Let alone moving up to get him! They need shooters. SHOOOOOOTERS. Not a 7'4, 300lb, relic from a bygone era. The Raptors FO doesn't leak. So these so called rumours are not coming from them.

Opinions on 4 team trade idea Portland receives: Jabari Smith Jr Anthony Black Jett Howard Orlando’s 2024 FRP #18 Orlando’s 2025 unprotected FRP Cleveland’s 2025 unprotected second round pick Houston’s 2026 FRP via Brooklyn Orlando’s 2027 SRP via Boston Houston’s 2027 SRP via Memphis Cleveland’s unprotected 2028 SRP Houston receives: Darius Garland Max Strus Wendell Carter Jr Portland’s 2024 FRP #7 Portland’s 2024 SRP #40 Cleveland receives: Jerami Grant Malcom Brogdon Orlando’s 2024 SRP # 47 Orlando receives: Fred VanVleet Anfernee Simons Houston’s 2027 FRP swap rights with Brooklyn Blazers finally commit to young core. Trading away talented veterans so the younger players can get minutes on the court. This team will never contend as is, a imminent blow up is obvious. Compensated with promising young players and a slew of picks. Rockets hand the keys over to Darius Garland. Rockets acquire a young and talented point guard to be a corner stone of a rebuild. They currently have the #3 pick in the draft and this trade nets them #7 as well. They could keep the picks and go all in on a youth movement or they could look to double dip and flip some new assets for Mikal Bridges after this trade is finished. Cleveland onboards new talent. Obviously the pair of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland didn’t workout. Cleveland gets deeper by landing two legitimate NBA caliber starters in Grant and Brogdon. This team desperately needs wing play and Jeremi Grant can provide that. Landing Malcom Brogdon allows Donovan Mitchell to play off ball and conserve energy and not run himself ragged trying to do everything. Both players shoot the deep ball well and stretch the floor. With the 47th pick they can scoop up Bronny James and potentially get both James Sr and Jr in a return to Cleveland. Orlando gets a brand new talented backcourt. Orlando is building something great. The two way play is exciting to watch. Fred VanVleet is a underrated defender and very skilled point guard with veteran experience that this team needs and Anfernee Simons is the offensive firepower answer.

The Raptors only draft workout they made public and invited the Media was the Edey workout. I don’t believe he’s on the radar if they were so public about it. If Portland wants a play in the top 10 higher than 7th, maybe they are targeting Clingan?
