mainly "Bath-Room-Tile-Music": flat, cold, , kind of boring and square. Just only the sound-pattern changes... It´s a kind of ill-expressed mental iillness. Hip-Hop more or less the same.

You just don't like instrumental pop. There's nothing "boring" about this song.

everything i could hear from "Untitled", my personal fav from this specific disc: (help from uploader) There's a big shadow crawling all across the land, and it's stealing all the juice from your (most likely) tick tock caboose Did your mama bebe dada ever kill your baby too? Do they kill your car with the telephone poll? Little Uncle Ricky let him have it in the face. Chinese chaka-chaka hadn't looked out for the flash. Did your mama bebe dada ever shove holes in your belly? Do you remember everything you see on your TV? Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah? Da-da-tee-to-ta! * Mark moaning and imitating Jerry or Bob2's bassline * There's a big shadow crawling all across the land, and it's stealing all the juice from your tick tock caboose. DId your mama bebe dada ever shove holes in your belly? Do they, kill your car with a, telephone poll.

might be "tick tock caboose", and definitely "looked out for the *flash*". I feel like this is a song about 'Nam, or nuclear war in general.

I so appreciate and identify with your labor of love as you strive and struggle for every single word and syllable of Devo’s great, important art. The lack of printed lyrics is beyond maddening. I think you have “Untitled” correct except for “Ricky;” I’m sure that’s “Uncle Wiggly.” It’s a kid’s board game featuring an anthropomorphic rabbit named Uncle Wiggly.

@@GrantTarredus what if it's Uncle Ricky NIXON?
@GrantTarredus2 ай бұрын
@@zhiracs Oh! Given Nixon’s crime in Cambodia - without which there’d be no song, since there’d be no Devo to create it - that makes perfect sense. Thanks!

In the film The Men Who Make the Music, after they leave Rod Rooter and go back to Club Devo there is a instrumental track playing. Gerry has said it was recorded in 1978 and he titled it "New Way To Be." I know there is a cover version of it out there, but is there a actual copy of the version done by DEVO?
