My apu starts runs then turn off then tries 2 start run for 1 min then turn off i hope this is the problem
@natcoziay5 күн бұрын
@@able_trucking780 I can tell you that it is probably a wire shorting out. Find the wiring harness under the truck and inspect it for shorted wires. Those wires rub against the frame due to the natural vibrations of the truck. After a while, some of those wires get shorted out. Peel back the plastic protective cover on the wiring harness and more than likely you will find a shorted wire in there.

Mine did the same and I changed out the whole fuse link with an updated one. Worked fine for a minute then shut back off. Fuse didn’t blow. But I turned off my inverter and turn unit back on and worked fine. Just can’t use the inverter while running apu. I can use it while idling the truck. So I have a feeling I have a little more work to do. Any ideas?
@natcoziay12 күн бұрын
@@user-fx5zj7ur7o I can almost guarantee you have a short somewhere. I found an APU wire running under the truck with a short in it. The protective coating had been shaved down due to vibration from the truck and the wire shorted every time I turned the APU on. I fixed the short and all my problems went away. Watch this video to see what my problem was and how I fixed it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/raeBqMeg0rTeoIE.htmlsi=mvJYM0G8879b0gGx

When your a/c compressor goes out standard procedure is to replace the compressor, condenser air receiver dryer and the expansion valves and flush the lines.

@@natcoziay Thank you for replying 👍 I'm having some weird noises coming out of the A/C system I believe it comes from the evaporator, I thought it was the A/C compressor but it is not, the sound comes every time I turn the A/C on and it sounds like a whale crying in the ocean very weird the sound comes and go every 10 to 15 minutes, but the A/C blows very cold the A/C vents sometimes they get wet from the humidity so I was thinking about replacing the expansion valve before replacing the evaporator, I have replaced the condenser and the a/c air dryer couple of weeks ago but the whale sound still there lol, but thanks again man.

I know this video is old I have not read any comments I have not finished watching the video I can tell you from my experience after going through everything with the same problem I had it wind up just being a $26 damn dollar power steering filter 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I spent money and time taking off hoses letting out fluid, and all that time it was just a simple filter. You learn from your mistakes. Experience is the best teacher😅 And by the way on that model engine when it comes to the power steering you can run regular oil you don't need power steering fluid or transmission fluid fill it back up with motor oil

Dam im in the same boat. Im changing my evap coil the pipe leading to the expansion valve by the firewall snapped in half huge leak. Its a $300 part one unit and let me tell you its labor intensive. Still trying to figure how to take it off its a 2022 truck. Im 100% sure the lines snap when you drive over nasty potholes. If you cant find your ac leak anywhere check your firewall leading to the cab. If its leaking there well your out of luck and welcome to the party. Im sure this is at least a $2000 dollar job.

It's amusing that I just came across this video while I'm searching for a used semi-truck, and Ryder has just offered me warranty and maintenance packages. I Googled it to see what others are saying. I've heard horror stories about warranties that don't cover crucial components when the truck breaks down. I'm concerned that without a warranty, a breakdown could leave me stranded with no money for major repairs or replacements of the engine or transmission. Ryder claims their warranty covers these issues, but I'm skeptical. I've read enough bad reviews online to wonder if this is just a scam where they blame the driver for the breakdown or say the broken part isn't included in the warranty package.
@natcoziay2 ай бұрын
Don't do it, save the money. Create your own warranty called a "Maintenance Account"! When the truck breaks down, you don't have to beg anyone, you will have the money to fix it.

I play live on stage and do occasional studio work. I use a Monster 1100 Power Bar from the wall to power a Monster 2500 Power Conditioner, an ETA PD9 Power Conditioner to give clean power to a 16 space rack system and large effects pedalboard full of digital effects processors and analog effects units. I never had EMI , RFI, hum or hiss in my system. When I take my digital effects processors ;;Digitech 2112 SGS, RP-12, RP-1 in for a check up with a tech, all the capacitors are still 100 % fuctional and my sound on on stage or in the studio, is clean and prestine.
