what part uk you in, my first car at age 32 fiesta 1.4tdci with 70bhp was £1900, that Clio is a 7-8£ k a year for 22 age in my area. im amazed you do not get laughed at and refused insurance even on a3

first car buy i did head in to brum as 12 miles south of it, first car tested got public road no brakes they barely worked, 2nd car x panda police car diesel corsa smokey and did not trust dealer, another one tried to sell me car with injector issues. so many garages just did not trust and areas my brother did not want park car, car engines on pavement on street corner we soon made excuses and left and so many did not trust, but one thing i say they grubby f**ks the controls were disgusting like back signals had a layer grime, ended up getting car Hereford, was not to bad bit injector issue but very clean car. did have some luck in brum the ca i got now an i20 1.2 had it 54 months been very reliable just maintenance and clutch and it was original at 100k miles so 4 nearly 5 years ive spent 700-800£ add mot and yearly service call it £1k not bad at all and that was doing disks,pads,backbox,clutch,belt,and a thing what builds pressure on the clutch, only thing i could do with as common issue chain can stretch or tension can fail at 100-120k that another £600 car be good for another 100k miles, just common wear tear items and standard 100k miles issues i did manage to get one good car from there but controls you did not want to touch but so many dodgy dealers some so bad we did not even stop to look but next car no way im going back prob not to any major city, hate big busy places i tend to avoid them so a good reason not to go back too busy ,idiot gang drivers, dodgy dealers and i hate citys and the cars the controls normally so bad you don't want touch them so a deep clean is for sure needed even after valet

Should have turned on the heat while it is acting with temps … pretty basic trick … real car guys would know … Also temp gauges are not to be looked at when its to late . They should indicate its going wrong before its gone wrong 🗿
