Dang that is crazy! I was walking at the grocery store thinking about this crazy commercial for “Duran Duran wild Rice” that used to play on a Morning radio show in Houston call Q zoo in the morning! And be damn if this was the first thing that popped up instead of the real song by Duran Duran!

The "Two of a Kind" soundtrack only has 4 songs sung by Olivia. All four of those songs are on this deluxe edition, including every existing remix or alternate version of those four songs. So, unless you really want the non-Olivia songs from that soundtrack, there's no need for a deluxe version of the soundtrack. So, essentially, you're almost getting two Olivia deluxe albums in one with this package. It's truly spectacular. One of my favorite deluxe album releases ever!

Bummer that you don't like it. I agree that they should have included visual material on the DVD, rather than just the spatial audio version of the album. (Although if you had a 5.1 surround sound system in your home, you might be pretty happy about it. Steven Wilson is one of the most well-regarded artists for creating surround mixes of albums.) But Ultravox did release a DVD of all their music videos in the past. And maybe there was no possible live concert to include? Hopefully, you will enjoy the rare songs that are on the boxed set. I do! It's fun hearing earlier versions of the songs. And, although I'm like you and I don't get that excited about live recordings, Ultravox is one of my favorite bands and any new version of any of their songs is welcome to me. :) The deluxe version of "Rage in Eden" is out already and the deluxe version of "Quartet" is coming later this year!

LOVE this album! It's truly an 80's era masterpiece. One thing you didn't mention is that the tracklisting for BANGS & CRASHES is slightly different from the original vinyl release. They removed the song "Haunted" (which appears on the album proper, anyway) and replaced it with the song "Dreamworld." They also added two more remixes, which probably couldn't fit on the separate rarites CD. Also, each of the nine drawings on the back of the album cover correspond to one of the songs on the album. This is a spectacular deluxe version of a spectacular album. Everyone should get it!

I didn't like this movie when it was first released but not because MM wasn't in it. Halloween 3 was just too weird for me at the time. It has since become one of my favorite horror movies. So much atmosphere!

Dare I say Depeche Mode were influenced by this song, not vice versa? They were making fairly meek synth pop in the early ‘80s. This video seems to have introduced some elements (banging on objects as percussion, shadowy atmosphere, heavier synths) that they quickly took to the bank. Would “Blasphemous Rumours” have happened the following year without this ditty?

The record company must have a HD version of this video.
