As someone who played little league in the 1970s I can say that this is very accurate as to how some kids talked. I'm not saying it was right, but it did happen.

Notice how she handled it? The old school had a lot of things right. You didn't wait around for somebody to come nurse your feelings every time you faced an obstacle in life.

Howdy. I experienced this in my test build having forgot to connect the dummy load to the output transformer. Friggin' stupid of me. Good lesson to be aware and focused when fiddlin' with tubes. Regards.

That is Russell Brown of Port Townsend watercraft. He designed the PT 11 nesting dinghy sold by Chesapeake light craft, amongst other genius boat ideas and designs. Great tip on the hatch construction!

It's funny! Earlier in the movie the black kid calls the coach a Honkey, so everyone got their share.

Funny as hell then and funny now. Pathetic you have a problem with this. It's a movie!

this is what has been lost....the fact is, these kids came together as friends and worked as a team, regardless of their differences and regardless of these WORDS. They are JUST words and people of all races to be able chuckle and give it back, or ignore it, and work side by side anyway....now everyone loses their minds over the barest inkling of anything they interpret as racism, and accepting that overreactive behavior as normal across our culture is now leading to people rioting and burning things. If there were MORE movie scenes like this and if people could hear a word without acting like a bomb went off, it would take the impact of these words away. You think you are doing good to minimize these words but in actuality you are propping them up and giving them power when you make them taboo.

I took this video a week ago and waited until i knew it worked. It seems the problem was the gas cap clutch was too weak and it wouldn't tighten cap enough.

The problem is that if those people who want to erase history get their way, it will open the door for people in the future to say, "oh it wasn't that bad." You're playing right into their hands. It's no better than book burning. Leave history just as it is so that intelligent, independent people can learn for themselves how things were in the past and how far we've come or not come. And btw for anyone wondering, this was CLEARLY meant to be funny and had no malice at all. It was supposed to make people laugh and wasn't politically motivated at all- unlike every word you see on TV and films today :/
