Lionel and Sontha had been my friends from the time we were in the university. .I have lived with them when they were in Galle and they lived with us after they returned from Jaffna until they got back their house from the tenant. He was a gentle father, loyal and kind husband who stood by the wife in everything. He was a dear friend who called me Chandare,

Very good analysis, agree with all. I have seen the movie long ago. I quite like and appreciate the mention of last point… very rarely people pick, the context. Awareness of olden days of lifestyle, cityscape and commodities used.

How can the body function if there is a cancer in the head (SLCC and the minister)! At the same time, some school level cricket coaches are corrupt. When I was in Colombo recently a taxi driver told me how his son (according to him a talented young cricketer) was denied a place in the school cricket team and in his place another boy whose parents had money got their child put in to the team instead. The cancer has spread it seems. When I was young the cricket coach was an old boy of the school and his intention was the best team for the school. Now it's the best team for my pocket.
