The governor is not supposed to be full of fuel. Just oil in the bottom.

I have a 1963 petrol powered B414. Previous owner changed the distributor to one that doesn’t have a tac drive. I put new points, plugs, condenser and coil and changed it from a governor to a 12 V alternator (now negative ground charging system). Engine rear main seal is leaking but engine has some oil pressure and the 1501 loader works well as I put new seals in the boom cylinders. The wrong (too high) seat is on the tractor and the steering box is very tight despite it being topped up with lubricant. Gonna sell this one on and keep my Massey Ferguson 270 with MF 236 loader.✌🏻🇨🇦 This tractor has a stupid design with the steering column going through the fuel tank. Only a Brit would design such a system!

Sounds like a good idea. The remote lines are already there for one, or anything else we may use on it.

Its indeed a Bell logger, with some modifications. I believe this would have been a 225 A model, built in South Africa. The engine is indeed a Deutz. Would love to see it drive around ;)

Excellent video Grandad's also you need tighten up engine belt to get Alternator recharge battery, keep fan running keeping motor cool too and glow plug switch also heat iticator on left ! Also would put 200 ml GM transmission type in fuel tank help Fuel Injection pump and plus more too ! Also General Motors Delco Remy Alternator from 1968 to 1985 70 to 100 amp with internal regulartor and single pulley too is not hard hook up to !

It's very common for fuel to leak through the injector pump. Non-serviceable, but you can do it. It's just o-rings. Take your time on a clean bench. 👍

Merry Christmas, boys. They pulled it apart, I'd bet, because of the dead battery. Not knowing why it wouldn't start. I've bought machines that wouldn't start, and all there needed was fuel. Sometimes, for some people, it's all too hard.
@billw47467 ай бұрын
Merry Christmas. I would have been shocked if the engine did not start. I have a viewed a few video`s on this channel. Most of the time they start engines in 30 seconds with a one posted battery. That was a reference from a prior video. I would like to know who is Grandad and who is blowing smoke. At Least with this channel has better jokes than Hank does.

Thanks for coming out to turn her over, My father Alan Baker was involved with importing these mahindra jeeps back in the day. The extra gear stick is a pto, great for farms. I first learned to drive in ours in the 80s it went everywhere and i have fond childhood memories. This stockman Jeep was purchased from a very dear family friend who was also connected to the jeeps, it sat in his farm shed for many years unused. i spent a few grand to get it turning a couple of years ago but has sat for a couple of years as i cant find anyone to restore it for me yet, if anyone can recommend somewhere it could get restored in the south west wa id appreciate the contacts. I got gifted the second jeep and tonnes of parts from another very special man who knew how much these jeeps meant to me. I hope to do them justice one day and get them both registered as daily drivers. 🙏 look forward to part 2. Any mahindra jeep owners check out our fb group "Mahindra Jeep Owners Australia " online too
