I reckon it worked for him...I can almost remember when Life Saver mints came out in candy's and mints..A penny per candy but who counted back then cause ya always got alot more for a dime. Those days are forever gone and never to return..If it would it'd be an act of God and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior..I was so convinced that life was always going to be thataway until the early 80s..I went away for 3yrs towards the mid 80s and came back to triple prices for anything and everything. Gasoline was 70 or 80 cents per gallon. I came back to almost 2 dollars per gallon and the price of used dependable vehicles under 10yrs old went from a few hundred dollars upto several hundreds of dollars. My daddy bought a brand new car in 1972 for 1900 until he decided that he wanted the Sport package added for a 2door coupe 1972 Ford Grand Torino that costed 2100 after the Cleveland engine, rim's, hood, and rear wing on the trunk lid. That same vehicle would be worth 50k beins it was 1 of its kind. Nobody wanted a coupe with the sport package back in 1972 that I can remember. I would love to know if the car still exists. Olive Green with a green vinyl top with green interior with the bench seat with high backs and the arm rest that folded up for a 3rd passenger in the front seat..I'm pretty sure that had nothing to do with Frank but it just rolled out of my finger lol 😂

Uk version so funny and so true to life on a housing scheme! The us version (in my opinion) seems to turn into a drama, more so from 2nd season. Got to say i do love steve more in UK version, but a lot of that is because how can you not love watching a younger James McAvoy shagging on the kitchen floor in the very first episode😊🎉❤😂 It doesn't necessarily have to be a competition we can just look at as double the amount of seasons to watch. Obviously life in UK council estate and life in us are both different so you will always relate to one more than the other depending on where you live and characters/actors that remind you more of everyday people depending on life experiences. This applies to all uk/aussie shows made into shows in the US and vice versa. Also the uk show came out in 2003/04 and us version was around 2010 I think(around these times anyway) so life and culture changes by the years too. Last season of uk version was 2013 and us version was still in its infancy. Different times, places so we should just enjoy them for what they are. The same goes for us shows remade in the UK. Everyone will always have a preference (usually whichever you watch first) and that's ok. I always appreciate if I like a show with an over the pond remake even if it's not exactly the same. Just try watching with fresh eyes and try not to compare when first watching, Then do the comparison after watched both or on 2nd viewing, like I say applies to all us to uk and uk to us. I enjoy shows much better since watching this way, in fact I'd love any recommendations of any remakes from uk or us originally. But at the end of the day what do I know it's just my 2 cents or 2 pennies, sorry this was so long! Happy viewing people and have a great day!

When credit card companies found out that I had good credit I got gobs of letters in the mail wanting me to sign up for a credit card but I didn't fall into it and it took years for them to quit bugging me.
