Frank, I cannot find your previous reply to my question about insurance cover. Would you let me know which insurance broker/underwriter y'all are using that is willing to cover y'all's trip? I am running into a wall when trying to get workable cover for our 70 ft trawler boat. You can send me your direct email, if you will.

We miss you two! Have you decided to sell? We know the boats being captained on its journey to the NW. Maybe explore the NW, but didn’t want all that time on the water? Hope all is well.

I have no idea if this is a good plan but the engineer in me would want to give the engine a half-hour blast every second day on a long passage. What are your thoughts on that? Those fuel bladers look the business, especially if you intend to explore even more remote areas than you have, where fuel may be scarce or difficult to access with your yacht.
@MVKariwaN622 ай бұрын
Good point, we did actually give the engine a blast for 30mins to an hour every couple of days, should have mentioned that. The bladders are heavy duty, but expensive, but I figure we will get some of that back at the end. Also very useful for remote places.

Great Video. Excellent economy and weather. Glad to see you get good quality fuel in the Galapagos.
@MVKariwaN622 ай бұрын
Thank you. We were lucky with the weather for sure. We docked at the main govt dock for fuel so it's good fuel (supplies the island). The sailboats buy from a gas station, and it comes out in 55 gallon drums and is pumped on board... you have no quality control on the drums in that situation.
