This song touches my heart and so many others. It always places me traveling and dreaming of love a long, long time ago, before many cars didn't even have FM radio, only AM. And AM radio played that song over and over because everybody loved it. We listened and dreamed on our AM car radios. It's a rare, timeless song. It's good that JT did his version, as everyone should, it does not detract from Glenn Campbell's version that long time ago.

If you can follow these words from a traditional folk song (Alfred Reed I think?) in the real world you can’t go wrong. I saw Willie in north west England play this a few years back 👌🏻awesome. Great tune and as I said just if you follow these words you’ll be rewarded and I speak as a man of no religion just a person being good and honest for the sake of being good and honest. Peace ✌🏻and love ❤

So many wonderful moments in this interview! Steve Poltz is such a genuine soul, his stories roll out of his heart, and they are always strange and so unlikely. And he tells these stories as if he's as entertained by them as we are.

This is an amazing and intriguing song of a man that notices a woman in his path but yet doesn't know how exactly to inspire her to know he is what she wants or maybe that he is totally intrigued with her in a way that she may not even know herself. That is just what I think when I listen to it.

I saw Collin at a small venue in Melbourne. In amongst his funny stories and anecdotes he pulled out this song, and it floored me. Trying to hold back the tears in a crowded venue was near impossible. Brilliant story teller and musician.
