It turned out that there were a few external bolts loose that secure the transmission pump. The transmission was perfectly fine. but of course I'd did have to remove the transmission in order to tighten the bolts. 👍🙂

Sounds like it could be a fuel issue or even a vacuum leak. I would check those first.

Hi. I like the brougham RV's. You can park them most anywhere with relative ease because of their size yet they are roomy inside. At least this one was like that. There are shorter and smaller brougham's out there. With vehicles this age and the condition this one was in you're going to encounter issues. one thing I didn't expect was a bent drive shaft. so that set me back $400. Since I had to have it towed I didn't know much about what I was getting into but the price was right so I felt it was well worth any unforeseeable issues. common problems could include electrical issues like blinkers not working etc. dirty gas tanks, fuel pumps going bad, water pumps giving out from sitting a long time or just wearing out. You can still find 16.5 tires and that size is fine but they are hard to find radial type tire for that size these days. Watch the other videos on this brougham and you'll see some of the other issues I faced. Also, if you want a brougham with nice headroom make sure you get one with the submarine windows at the top like mine had. not all brougham's have ceilings that high. hope this helps. @@davidhuff2688 Thank you. Yes they seem to be a little harder to come by these days. I had bought some nice 16.5's one year online, and then only a year later those same brand tires were no longer available.
