Great idea cutting back the grass layer around new tree

Would like to plant a few fruit trees but too many deer to give them a chance to survive. Do you have deer in your area?
@daves301620 күн бұрын
i just fence around every tree, its ugly but it gives the trees a chance.
@sohappytogaylor18 күн бұрын
Yes, but we haven’t noticed them bothering anything yet. If we do we can fence around the trees.

We adopted a Great Pyrenees when he was 3 months old. He's now 2 1/2. He's the sweetest dog we ever had. It's true about the Pyrenees paw😂 Every time we walk past him him he stretches out his legs to paw us and make us stop and pet him 😊Love him so much 💖

@sohappytogaylor2 ай бұрын
We gave them the Parvo vaccine, but left it up to the owners to give them what they wanted. Moose and Minnie got all of theirs, but after some research our next dog probably won’t.

@@sohappytogaylor They fruit slow (7-8yrs to first fruit) so it'd be a shame to cut any established ones down, looks like there's quite a few on that treeline. They're a small understory tree that likes some shade so they don't take up much space at all.

A strainer would be a lot quicker an more efficient. Also, FYI. Fermenting feed in the winter months is no good. It hurts the chickens more then doing them any good. I make my own mix 50%whole corn 25% all flock pellets 10% 5-grain scratch 5% sunflower seeds that’s my ratio. For the cold months. They need more crude fat
