I came here because my alarm rapid chirps 4 times in a row every couple minutes or so, why is this?

@@DigitalDiscoveries53 no it dosent, I found out it means it needs a permanent replacement, it’ll beep 4 times loud and clear like a regular smoke alarm, every 3 seconds.

Yes. Some alarms may have writing on the side saying faulty or something else and if the light shows up on faulty it means you may need to replace the detector or the batteries.

It's either just battery powered, but if it's wired there is either an issue with the wiring or the wire input isn't connected to the alarm

Oh my goodness where did you get that one smoke alarm? That one that is really high pitch. I like the low pitch one but I want one that’s high pitch. I would love to get a couple of these because then I can interconnect them together.

Battery replacement i had that happen once because NRH Gave us a dead battery so they had to come back and fix it. Fun fact i have this exact same alarm in the basement upstairs and living room and there all linked i dont control that stuff niagara region housing does that i rent

Mine is flashing green and won't shut up either. I have 3 had to unhook 2 for the night because I can't figure it out. Batteries changed. You find a fix?

He tested it by the button there was not actual carbon monoxide i have the exact same one and we rent and NRH replaces batterys then tests it every 6 months

hey man i don't mean to say that your smoke alarm is bad or anything but you might wanna consider buying a photoelectric/co unit just for the extra bit of safety
