The NDE stories that ring truest to me are the ones in which sorrow for sin and repentance or requests for forgiveness are made. I'm far more skeptical about NDEs which only talk about light and love with no mention of Jesus Christ. He didn't go through the crucifixion for it to be ignored in heaven, so I'm far more convinced by the NDEs that point to a resurrected Christ with sincere acknowledgement of human sin.

Thank you for reminding us who God the father,the Son and the Holy Spirit are! I read the word and think of the Old Testament and the laws. It’s so beautiful to see him as redeemer not just the Old Testament laws. There is no condemnation in Christ but freedom! The love of God, each NDE spoke of the love of God! Imagine the God of heaven, there are no words that can speak, truly describe. Everyone is looking for a real, trusting relationship. God wants that too. Thank you for reminding me of the love of the father!

Feels like you don’t understand the other side either, Baby Boomers, I understand you trying to sympathize with one, but misjudged the other…it wasn’t “just the WW2”….life meant “is short” likely you die in some beach or foreign land, make the best of this life if you can….created a whole philosophy I disagree, but I wasn’t there swinging at German Italians or Japs…I didn’t had to make a choice of dropping 2 nuclear bombs because Japs we’re so deadly and resistant would kill so many American troops…tough job…but the question is, am I man enough to talk bad about that Generation, yeah, most likely…but I’ll be so careful….

I bought the book, is may 2024 had a vision almost 7 years ago during this time of my as I called *spiritual awakening * I didn't think it was possible that GOD still saves and send all sorts of messages to the ones who are ready I've been redeemed and GOD is real through faith we see in that vision I saw all that the bible says and even more with conviction I'm GOD's child through JESUS name I saw the awesome color of GOD's energy pure love

Was Santosh’s account of his interaction with Jesus more of a works based instruction from Jesus in order to go to heaven ? Santosh said Jesus told him to be honest and have close relationship with him and love his family 365 days a year. And a few other things. That was how to enter heaven when it was Santosh’s time to enter. 🤔🤔

Exactly my question. Also, Paul could not utter what he saw when whether in or out of the body and had a vision of heaven. IDK, he is spreading the gospel and appears to be genuine. I will stick to the word, but we are fortunate to have it. Many are less fortunate, and in time past prior to the printing press the canon was not yet put together so maybe these are valid. IDK, with so much corruption IDK who to believe anymore.

I listen to these experiences very cautiously. Some may be genuine. They cannot contradict the gospel or we know they are false. But about “appointed once to die” maybe our understanding of heart no longer beating and not breathing is not super exact for time of death; maybe there is something we don’t understand about death. When is the finality? 🤔

It is my understanding that some statements, such as the one you just mentioned, are are very true, but in an over arching way. In the broad sense it is precisely true. But think of Lazarus……. there are other contrary examples. We KNOW Lazarus was a true account, yet he died twice. I know we all know other Bible characters & groups of Bible characters that died twice , but in an over arching way , man dies once. I don’t claim to understand all of this, certainly not. But this concept helped me. All such near death experiences MUST be carefully cited suffered, prayed over for discernment. The speaker here, wisely said not to take any doctrine from these. They did all say, as did all the others I’ve heard, that there is some kind of line that they MUST NOT cross or cannot return to earth. Possibly that is the key. If you are Saved, ( if not get so now!) ask the Holy Spirit that is within you for insight. God bless you! Maranatha!

@@oksills I did not think of those who were resurrected and died twice. We also have Luke 16 where obviously the physically dead engaged in conversation. Abraham said even if someone was raised from the dead, the rich man's brothers still would not believe. There were doubters back then with Jesus (Matthew 28), and still doubters today. It is a phenomena that I do not understand because they all appear to be genuine and documented. Too many to be false accounts. I guess like everything else, we must take it with a grain of salt. Ultimately, they are spreading the good news of the gospel, and that is a good thing.

My Daddy experienced an NDE during a 9 minute cardiac arrest. His story was the same as some in this video/book. Daddy came back knowing/sharing verifiable information that we did not previously know. Daddy declared, "We can't even imagine how wonderful Heaven is!"

Slave owners in America cut absolutely nothing out of the Bible. You really need to stop saying this please. The slave owners had absolutely nothing to do with creating the Slave Bible. Not a single slave owner anywhere. You may be surprised to learn that the Slave Bible was created not by slave owners, but by evangelical Christians. Not only evangelical, but also abolitionists. In England by the way. The fact that you don't know this makes me question a lot of other claims you make here to be honest.

Hypocrisy does not merely "hurt." Rather, it is proof of Phariseeism and of "goat" religion (Mat. 25:31-46). There is no disciple-making ("teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you"). The is almost6 exclusive petitionary prayer (telling God what to do) and no teaching of TRUE prayer, done in your prayer closet, not for show, not full of empty magic words, but instead a conversation with God asking Him to show us His will --including getting direction how to serve a suffering other.

This reminds me quite a bit of "Conservatism is on the rise"...that Rightwing media hosts have been claiming for FORTY years. Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, et al have been claiming that "America is becoming more and more conservative" all the way back to Reagan. Newt Gingrich's "Revolution" promised to see "massive cuts in spending and programs". Tom Delay promised there would be a "permanent GOP majority" in the US House. And yet....George W. Bush lost the popular vote twice, while Clinton and Obama won it twice. Donald Trump lost the popular vote ...twice. So, look at the long-term trends for Christianity, I mean back to the 1950s to today. Evangelicalism has gotten more vocal, more political, but the actual "growth" of Christianity in places like Central and South America and Africa are only based on population growth in those areas, and are inevitably also tied to rises in poverty. Meanwhile, religiosity has seen a long term decline in Europe (churches are being turned into rec centers even nightclubs). And the strict moral code of Rightwing Christianity has collapsed as most Americans support gay marriage now, and the Republican Party, which tries to claim sole ownership of Christianity, nominated a thrice-married gambling tycoon who brags about groping women
