Oh my God, THANK YOU, because of this video you saved us from draining and refilling our 6k gallon pool, we used clarifier, chlorine, algaecide, our pool was a SOLID green, than we tried pool Flocculant, and overnight ALL algae dropped to bottom like a green pool carpet, our robot just threw all the algae back up, did flocculant again, and tried your idea, the hole near the hose seemed to be way to slow (the way yours was) I took a plastic Tupperware bowl, drilled a hole the size of the hose end, used electrical tape to seal it, and drilled 2 holes near the bottom to created vacuum from bottom up, worked great, was able to do my entire green blanket pool in about 2 hours, thank you a million times!

If you're standing at the side or behind it but not far from it, can you still pick up signal? Or must you be directly in front of it to get signal?

I use the pump that came with the pool, practically worthless but use as the vacuum.Those brush flat pool.tos suck..The suction isn't great with this pump so I used the dome lid you use to cover plates in micro. The Dollar Tree one worked OK but found one at Walmart that had a rubber rim on the edge. Made it really smooth to pull back..Even better that gasket can be slipped almost off and it makes sort of a gap for water to suck in thru the bottom. All these needless pool tools and all you need is a Tupper container. 😂

Don't keep it in your house. Those batteries are sus, they have no legit certifications. These things are usually cheap due to recycled cells and piecemealed together ...and by recycled, I mean they use old, scrapped batteries.

How do I connect to my non inter pool
@diymanual10 күн бұрын
I believe the thread sizes are the same for all above ground pool. I never had Intex pool. My first pool was a Bestway using a 1.25 hoses and the one I'm using now is a Coleman with a 1.5 hoses but the threads for inflow and outflow from inside the pool are the same and I can use this product on them. Simply remove the cover from the side where the water goes back into the pool and put the included adapter that came with this product.

How did you wrap it and where did you start
@diymanual10 күн бұрын
The leak happens to be oil soaking through the hose near the metal connector so I started at the metal part so I can put more pressure on it. If I remember correctly, I did 2 layers. From the metal part, I wrapped it and went over 2 to 3 inches over where the actual leak is then went back to the connector. Just a reminder, this is not a permanent fix. But this patch gave me enough time to gather the information I needed to learn how to replace the part by myself to save money. I eventually have to replace my hose as you can see in the video link below. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rJ-Zfc2F2cq7qpc.html Good Luck.

Darn it wish I had found this video before I started filling, I didn’t put the posts inside the band 😅 does it matter how thick the slabs are for under the posts? I have ones that are about 3/4” inches.
@diymanual11 күн бұрын
@@Overly_nourished_entity The weight of the pool will probably hold the pole in its place but don't quote me on it. Regarding the slab, what's more important is the material of the base and how compacted the base is. The slab can crack if the base gives in. Hope this helps.

It is all about the vents, they point towards the back at the top. They expel hot air and gasses, not scoop it. This is the most important feature of directional rotors. If they are radial (straight out), it is irrelevant how you want them to face.

@johnwilliams666313 күн бұрын
After you add the drops to your pool water, that whole chamber from top to bottom will be the same color. Then you compare your pool water color to the five other colors next to it and see which one is closest. It won’t be an exact reading like you get at the pool store, but it will get you close enough. Hope this helps.

If chlorine is orange, it means it is too high. That usually happens when you shock the pool. I will not stay in the water with that color.

@reallynow535715 күн бұрын
kinda like what u have, i can still faintly see the dot and u hv it full already
@diymanual11 күн бұрын
If you can see it at full the CYA is still low, you can add a little more. The camera lens can actually see better than the naked eye. If you can faintly see the dot then your CYA is right about at 30ppm or a little lower. Ideal is between 30 and 50 but if you are using chlorine tablet, it will raise your CYA overtime so if you are not losing chlorine quickly you should be good.

Thanks for the input. I tried that with my garden hose jet type vacuum with multiple socks but the dead algaes are too small and just shoots back up into the water. You probably get less than 5% and the rest just goes through the the sock. This method does it faster.

Hi again!! The parts that go in holes B & C when the pump goes on are you supposed to feel suction?!? I can’t tell if my pump is broken 😞
@diymanual18 күн бұрын
No. You won't feel any on the suction side. You can feel the water going out on the outlet (A side) back to the pool. If you are using the same pump, you should feel the water up to a foot on the A sde. If you can feel it drop down to around 6 inches then you want to clean or replace the filter.
