@@yoyobah1862 if you add some rice flour you’ll get white patches on crust. Looks cool. Big I Just used potato starch.

I once tried to recreate the recipe and it came it horrible. The famichiki gods had punished me for trying to recreate something so divine. However, I will try thus

It’s just 100% dry potato starch. the marinade is juicy so that wets the potato starch creating a batter. It’s amazing as it’s so simple yet so juicy tasty and crunchy.

Tatsuta patties are minced with chuncky pieces. Key to the karaage Tatsuta is that coating of potato starch. McDonald’s also use a slight batter. I tried that but gets a better look with the potato starch only.

@@teedoubleu2580 you need apple, pineapple, garlic, onion, soy sauce etc etc blitz to a pulp then and need to boil it down, i might make a vid when i have time. though in meantime its easier to get any bottle of yakiniku sauce as its quicker

The bottom heat section is solid. The string I guess mixes the heating chemicals to heat once combined. There maybe water in there to create the steam.
