Oh my gosh that sand would be tricky. Curious to know how many times you dropped it? I dropped my bike once on my foot and the handlebar landed on the MTP joint of my big toe and it felt sprained for about two months after that. Hopefully your ankle heals up fast.
@YankiRides13 күн бұрын
Total of three times in that trip. 2 of them were on that ankle. Foot is still a little sore, even a month after, but it is mostly ok now. If it t weren’t for the torsional protection of my boots, I’m sure something much worse would have gone down

I'm in my late 50s and have lived by one rule. Never, ever give up. No matter how painful it is you don't stop moving forward. This rule has almost killed me twice but I made it. Life is too short to " come back to it later ". That's just how I live and it takes a lot of effort. Sprained ankle, blown out shoulder, or dislocated finger it doesn't matter, keep going. I have always remembered this quote from a movie. “Your "best"! Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen.” ― Sean Connery Everyone is different, I get that but when you question yourself remember, you can accomplish the most difficult things if you set you mind and body to it. You made a KZfaq channel that kicks ass! I have made changes to my riding for the better because of your guidance. Don't ever give up keep going no matter how painful it is.

Damn dude.. that sounds pretty hardcore. I like being able to walk around on my own volition though. If you are okay with beating yourself up.. then you do you boo. I will never forget years ago riding a fairly new Honda XR650L. I had cool gear and some decent experience. Then, I get passed on the trail by a guy on a Harley. I think like an old sportster. Denim, no helmet, just go along like it’s no big deal. I was humbled, but also couldn’t stop laughing.

When we were in the black hills, we came upon a sign that said “ county maintenance ends” with a pretty moderate hill climb ahead of us. We took a second to assess it and psych ourselves up. About that time, an older guy, wearing a scooter helmet, shorts, and boat shoes, came trundling down the hill riding a stock cbr250r…. We felt ok to take the hill after that lol

Man, I have tried, and often failed at many new things and hobbies. When I happen upon an expert, I listen to them. But, I make my own decisions. So, I take whatever they say with a grain of salt. Allot of times they are just trying to put their insecurities upon you. I don’t get too upset about it, they usually don’t even know they’re doing it.

I feel everyone should show the hard times and be like hey, there is a better way to do xyz I just told to do it yzx... both can end with the same result one just might be a little bit more difficult. I always am open to learning how to do the one thing I have done for decades a better way. if it is faster, more effective and efficient sure. I am down. but to say you are not a certain type of person because you did not go the path not chosen is DUMB. It takes one person to try that, and if it is successful many will follow and you should help guide them give them tips tricks or possibly even tools to do it better, safer, faster etc. not hide in a dark whole and keep coming out of the shadows and be like WRONG jackass... and move on without even a hint as to what could have been done or what they can do to get it done. anyway, keep up the fun vids, keep showing people all these amazing things, and keep pushing people to come through the door to explore rather than other who just like to slam things in other peoples faces. cheers.

Ah the gatekeepers, or as I refer to them... The Sentry. "Sentry" origins derive from Centrinel (circa late 1500s) whose task was to provide protective order and function inside a sanctuary. Our sanctuary being Motorcycling, modern day Sentries feel the need for everyone in the community to display a similar pattern, appearance, and method. Most of these sentries have all the gear, and no idear. Be careful how you choose your coffee beans.

Sport bike rider sits leaning forward, helmet facing slightly downward so the sun is blocked by the brow area of the helmet. Tall chin guard doesn’t interfere with lower vision because the helmet is tipped downward and you can see over it. Adv. rider sits upright so peak helps block the sun. Use a sport helmet sitting too upright and the sun is blinding at the top of the face shield and a tall chin guard blocks downward visibility. That’s why Adv. helmets have an oversized field of vision & peak.
