Very expensive I think Turkey has the best doctors and they speak english, plenty to discover of history , I was thinking of going to Thailand but no one responded my inquiries and when I check the cost is very high compare to Turkey may be lots of competition in turkey keeping the cost at bay

I am a G7 medical doctor living in Thailand. I used to be a patient at that place until they tried to overcharge me despite being quoted the price before procedure. Dentist predicted procedure will take 20 minutes and he happily informed me completed in less than 20 minutes. At cashier price was higher so they called dentist on phone and he claimed complicated procedure. I asked why as he predicted 20 minutes and finished within 20 minutes. He could not answer to defend the indefensible and reverted to original price. Beware of any facility catering to international community as sometimes they place money before ethics. Can happen at hospitals also when they tell you need expensive surgery but surgery is unnecessary in reality. Always get 2nd and even 3rd opinions from places that are not profit driven. I am lucky because I understand a lot as a doctor and I have doctor friends that do not stand to make money from me. Thai people get high quality dental care at less fancy places and just about all dentists speak enough english to communicate with you. Many shopping malls dental offices are quite good. I got a porcelain fused metal crown for about 200usd. With my current knowledge I save all non emergency dental for Vietnam. Vietnam has excellent quality high tech dental care at about 30-40% cost. This means for the cost of dental alone in Bangkok, I can fly to a clean air city with lovely beaches and the total cost including travel/hotel is the same as dental alone in BKK.

You should to krabi for seashore area, ancient town at Ayuthaya province, forest and Thai treaditional culture at Chaing mai and Chaing rai province or National park at Khao Yai National park. Welcome to Thailand.

We never handed over our passport to a rental company...they just take a copy or picture...Carefull when you do that...

No, it is not customary for the renters to take your passport! Never give up your passport or your international drivers license! Always use a cash or credit deposit!

Giving up your passport offers so many issues in the future! Always take a videotape of the complete status of anything you’re renting whether it’s a car or a scooter for damages! One of the biggest scams is you come back to the renter and they say there’s more damage to the scooter which if you didn’t take a video you can’t prove… Not to mention if they have your passport, they won’t give it back unless you pay the difference! Taking passports only started in the last couple years and is actually against the law!

Of course, leaving a copy of your passport and a copy of your international drivers license is something that is customary!

Thats actually on tip i give to friend visiting se-asia Go inside a copy store and take copys of your passport to have in you and for things like rent things and change money ..even a nice aminated copy cost about 10-20 baht in Thailand Never ever go outside with the actual passport on you

It's all by donation and the centers are ran by volunteers that have done at least one course. Those teachings have to accessible to everyone ☺️

If you are taking a bus in Thailand You have to raise your hand for the vehicle you want to take because there are many bus lines in Thailand. The driver will know that you want to get on the bus. He will stop to pick you up. .If you don't raise your hand, he'll think you're not getting on. He'll drive past and stop where someone raised his hand.😅😅😅

Wow that’s really expensive for Thais. For me I would pay less than half of that but chances are the dentists would only speak Thai so the communication will be a problem for international patients. Glad that you are happy and now you can smile in the land of smile :)

Yes we went to a very expensive dentist, I think it would have been worse of they didn't do a good job but was the greatest dentist visit ever!

Thai healthcare and dentalcare is among top 10 in the world Only a few county's in europe is on that top 10 list rest is asian and Medical tourism is on the rise fast to Thailand . I go to a more normal standard thai clinic and pay about half prices that u payed, but only thing i done last 8 years is checkup cleaning and making a new filling so i cant really compare =)
