Great video! I'll add what I've found to work also. If you set your throttle hold curve to 20%, this will allow the bailout function to work for however many seconds that your "AR" (Auto Restart) time is set to in the ESC. So if you click out of hold during the auto, the bailout function will "fast start" the motor like you described. I have my AR time set to 30 seconds, as I doubt I could keep my RS4 in the air that long during an auto before landing. After 30 seconds, the esc will revert to the normal "soft start". The thing to remember is that if you do a short auto from a hover to landing with the blades stopped, then click out of hold within that 30 seconds, the motor will still fast start which could be a bad thing if your blades aren't tight enough or you're otherwise not ready for it. Initiating the throttle cut briefly after landing, either on a different switch or the same if desired, will reset the "AR" no matter how many seconds have elapsed, then soft start normally once clicked out of both. This is just a different way to accomplish the same thing, but would allow for your throttle hold and throttle cut to be on different switches which I am more used to for planes and nitro helis. Thanks again for the great video and taking the time to make it. It's what initially made me aware of how the bailout function worked on ESC's as I'm pretty new to the electric heli world!

be careful buddy for maingear oneway bearing , my raw 580 crashed last flight. After 20 flights the raw 580 crashed for oneway bearing and now I needed a new Raw 580 . probably manufacturing defect maingear one way bearing.

that heli is the most dialed in smooth heli I think Ive ever seen fly by anyone. How do you get your helis to fly so smooth. Do you got magical mechanical dust spray or something. I got this heli and the nimbus nitro and its awesome but not smooth mechanics like this video.

Great flying Enzo, shame about the ending. Did it do much damage?

Dude excellent video. I understand ow how to do this but still confused why throttle cut is working like hold should. I always thought thru flying planes, throttle cut is the one that completely kills the motor, and hold would simply hold the motor in a pre set rpm but here it’s kind of reverse where hold is the total kill and cut is something else

Che motore ed esc monti?
@dtfarms65704 ай бұрын
Same for a YGE esc , but, I also reversed this setup so that throttle hold is on the middle of the 3 position switch B , that way throttle cut on switch H cannot be overridden by throttle hold.

Do slipper pads require break-in for best consistency? I have been told that with new slipper and pads, you should tighten the nut all the way down, and leave it like that for 15 minutes to break in the spring. Then loosen it up enough to where it's slip while holding the tires. And then run the car on bench (while holding the tires for a few minutes to build a good amount of heat in the pads to where there is a near mirror finish on the pads. Is this method legit?

Thank you for posting this very well done video. This video demonstrates how to get the job done in an easy to understand step-by-step manner. I would like to add that there is more than one way to "skin the cat". I personally would have reversed the "Throttle Hold" and "Throttle Cut" positions in the 3-way switch so that "Throttle Hold" would be in the middle position of the 3-way switch. This would not affect the functionality, but it would help to maintain setup consistency across my fleet.
