Thanks! What helped me in your video is to see that you were holding CMD+OPT+R+P and *then* pressed the restart button.

to anyone of you who tries this and the screen still doesn’t turn on, add an extra step: close the macbook for a second and open again, i’m assuming that it resets the screen. I don’t know. it worked for me, since after all the steps it was still black.

I did this, got the chimes but it didn't work still, done it a few times plus the shift and restart and all the other combinations , do you have any other tips please , thanks
