I've been obsessed with citronella. I tested so many different blends using Candle Science citronella as well. I use coconut soy and yellow beeswax. It gives that classic citronella look without adding pigment and beeswax adds a sweet clean smell and its beneficial for indoors as well as out. Obsessed! If I could I would make concrete vessels. I don't have space right now. CS came out with terracotta pots but I couldn't wait on the release. Im shocked at how many people hate citronella and I could burn it all year... especially the blends.

I think it has to be blended with another herbal of some sort or I personally wouldn’t want to burn it. Love this blend though! So glad you found one you like too.

Did you ever try mp 117? I read in a study that it is polyesther (sp?) wax. CS does not say that, I discovered this info. while looking for any kind of lab notes on it to see if I should try to move to add more paraffin or use it alone.

So im a newbie with candle making, i make strictly beeswax candles. What type of oil do yo use in beeswax or do you. I use natural oils like lavender/ chamomile or patchouli. I dont want to over do it because i like the natural honey smell.😊

These kinds of videos make me feel so cozy and calm. Thank you for the effort you put into these! Since watching you videos I've gotten into body oil making and I've watched all of your fragrance oil reviews. Have you ever tried Vinevida or Voyageur? Their prices are good and I love the fragrance descriptions but I trust you nose and want to know if I should invest in them🤔

Thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I appreciate them so much. You are just so sweet and kind. Omg - I’m so glad your melting unit did not catch on fire. Sorry about the loss of your wax though.

In all honesty, it doesn't seem too terrible. I do order from candle science as well and live in NY. Almost every single one of a box of jars has at least one broken in it. Candle science is great about replacing, but it seems about normal for the amount and cost savings.

I love your fragrance reviews and appreciate your honestly. Just a helpful observation on this video. You positioning with your table and supplies behind you seemed disorganized and really awkward. Take it for what it is worth.

Thanks for your comment. What do you suggest to improve these complaints you mention?

@@earthglow if all the fragrance oils were set up on a table in front of you it would eliminate the twisting back each time to get a fragrance oil.

I think your table and supplies look great., I'm 70 years old and started making candles when my eldest daughter was diagnosed with a rare cancer. She passed away 7 years ago and making candles has been great therapy for me. You make smile when I watch your channel. I give my candles away as gifts as that makes me happy too. Keep being you and your room looks great !!! From Australia with love and light ❤

Omg I’m so glad I found you. You’re absolutely awesome! I love this video and must check out all your others. I’m really new to all this and have been learning cold process soap making since Christmas, which I love doing. It’s become a passion but I also want to learn candle making. I really had no idea about fragrance blending and yours is the first video I’ve watched and may be the only one. I can just tell how amazing you are. I mean I had no idea so thank you so much, ❤

I was checking out your patreon to see if you review the CT and hot throw after adding to wax, you totally should. That would make the patreon subscription perfect for me even if it's a hire priced tier.❤❤❤❤ Love your content btw! my fav Chandler
@earthglow6 күн бұрын
Hi there! It’s a great idea in theory but it’s simply not feasible for me to make and burn 100+ test candles per month, which would be correspondent to the number of samples I receive. Hot throw is also dependent on a number of factors-wax, wicks, vessel, percentage FO-and not simply the oil alone. I really appreciate your comment though!

I've watched most all your videos and absolutely love all your work and personality and willingness to share everything you do in great detail. I'm not sure if I've seen you do a video on these colored molds ( all of them) I'd like to see the colors and stuff, I know you have a favorite gold and rose gold craft paint? Also, what do you plan on using this particular mold for?
@earthglow9 күн бұрын
Hi there! I’ll definitely consider making a video on this mold. I’ve held back mainly because I got it from an Etsy shop that is currently taking a break, so you’re not able to get the mold at all currently. Most of my customers use this mold for jewelry, decor, keys, trinkets, etc. Specific details related to my supplies and formulas are available in my Patreon.
