“Why can’t we turn Black?” I like myself!” ALLLAHu AKBAR!! I had the same similar thinking as this Beautiful sister when I was a child. I liked myself. And most of the women in family on both my Mother’s and Father’s side were Beautiful dark skinned women like this Beautiful Pioneer. My father was even darker than my Mother. And me being born after my Mother’s side of the family had become members of the Nation of Islam I have Never Ever had a problem with the Beautiful dark skin tone that ALLAH, the Most High created us in. I love it and I’m married to a Beautiful West African wife who is darker than me. As Salaam Alaikum!!

By the year of 1860, the United States of America and Brazil were the only countries in the Western Hemisphere that had not abolished slavery. By 1960, one hundred years later, The USA was the only country practicing legalized racial segregation. As of today, we are yet to figure out, in what Galaxy of what Universe, the US is a beacon of Freedom and Justice, certainty not this one.

When I recorded the audio for this in 2011-2012 at the Shaw Library I took no care to get good audio. Whoever cleaned it up for this video must know that, and I'm sorry!!! I then learned proper techniques for interview audio and never had the problem again. Good work restoring these voices! Best, Casey (DCPL)

Nothing clear enough to figure out how to actually get the right information. Everything sounds so technical.

Rhyolite. Ive found chunks of Rhyolite here in Kentucky and determined that it is quite difficult to knap compared to other materials. It does produce a sharp edge though

This was a very interesting documentary. Some of the ideas back then did not work, and they are not working now. It is soo sad what we as a people must endure just for basic human rights.

JC definitely made channel 9 what it was
@user-om4gs7qt6o6 ай бұрын
I always had JC Haywards back even though channel 9 treated her like she was nothing. She did most for that station more than anybody. They so ungrateful at that station. if it wasn't for her none of you would even be in the positions that you are today. Shame on you channel 9 for not giving her the proper retirement that she deserves @wusa9

Channel 9 definitely has changed since you left. It will never be the same without you. You was always a loving, kind, and generous person and it's really sad that they couldn't see that.

You really brought out the best in Channel 9. You are loved and missed so much Miss Hayward. You have a good heart and they took that for granted. The way that they did you I will never get over it. You did so much for your community.
I would love to find a new hand dance class. If anyone know of a new place.
