the other thing about repurposing is so often there is something I own that I can use in a working that I've had for a long time and it brings its associations and history with me into the working - you don't get that buying something new. also, save things that might come in handy. my partner gave me chocolate in a heart shaped box - that can become a platform for spellwork around the relationship, putting things in it, drawing sigils on it, burning candles (safely) on top of it. and when you want to do something right away to take advantage of an auspicious date or moon phase and you don't have a lot of planning time, being able to source everything for the spell from your own household is key.

great tip about engraving candles with a toothpick dipped in oil. I usually just use a pen but will try with the oil.

Hey I am new to your channel. Just watched my first video of you ❤. And I am newish to Tarot also. I see myself as a beginner. But for me I use it as a mindfulness practice because of the beautiful art. A daily grounding practice. A journal moment. Sometimes I do a week a head or a month a head but not allways. I use tarot as a way to connect with deity. And certain energies. To order my own thoughts. I defenly would love to study more. But I often feel overwhelmed. So many wonderful things to study… tarot is and will be a life companion for me. And a hobby because I collect also. Looking forward to watch other vids of you. Greetings from Belgium

My journey started with the film wizard of oz when I was a child , I was fascinated with the witch and realised that she was so mesmerising and I wanted to follow her not Dorothy 😂 I then believed that magic was real and the moon was my blanket and my journey started from simple things like trying to make potions and star gazing and lots of questions to the universe I was a solitary child that loved to be in field cloud gazing instead of playing with kids on the block also no internet and only my imagination and my senses to years later having alters of nature and so on to now at 65 I’m still a child at heart with a love of books crystals and stories from around the world and will never get tired of all things magical 🧙 love your story and thanks for sharing ❤🕸🦌🍁🧟‍♀️

That was really interesting! There are a few practises i might want to try. And a combination of a few things you mentioned. Making some sort of (art) tarot journal of symbolism or something... Need some time to figure out where this is going. The funny thing is though... yesterday i applied for an online basic tarot webinar. This woman also wrote a book that got my intrest. According to the reviews its not plain information sharing, but next to basic and historic information als the personal/intuitive road. And that was the exact reason why I bought my first deck back in 2022. Some help with developing my intuition and finally learning to recognize and trust my own intuition. In the mean time I have 3 decks, 4 & 5 are on their way. The basic original rider waite as study material. And i Am looking forward to the earth woman tarot. I Am in my feminine focused phase right now 🤭 I want to pair that deck up with the feminine wisdom oracle. They have the same sort of hand drawn art. That seems to be my preferred art style when it comes to card decks. So much fun!!! Things to look forward to! 👏🏼🙌🏼 Thank you for your inspirational video! 🙏🏼
