This went from an unusually epic love ballad to a fucking battle for the fate of Mankind.

Why am I just seeing this? Now I want to hear a live orchestra perform it.

Hello ANDI. im a content creator and a live music streamer. I would like to have your permission for me to sing the vocals and will use this as my background music. I hope i dont get a copyright for it.
@circuitsoldiers18 күн бұрын
Hey there! That's fine by me. Journey's label demonitized this one, it'll probably happen to you too, but it's not a copyright strike. So go ahead if you don't mind that it will not make you any money 👍
@frankkurst90309 күн бұрын
@circuitsoldiers oooooh.... uhm....im thinking of removing the vocals and ill sing over it instead. Will also change the speed a little and will talk/shoutout my viewers in middle of the song to prevent copyright. Ill use for my facebook content under Michelle_Led account

whoah, this is like near exact but somehow even more epic! what was your process for recreating this score track?
@circuitsoldiers18 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I really just synced the tempo track in my DAW to the original and listened over and over again while recreating every instrument I could recognize.

I usually create the cover art for my projects myself (with a few exceptions), but for "Mi Cadavér" I felt it had to be something special. So I asked my man Lucas who did the vocals on the song if he knew any artists who could provide a cover artwork. I was honestly shocked when he told me he'd recruited none other than the legend himself, Tomás Ives. He created this sick skull animation seen on the cabinet screen and it inspired me to do this arcade scene. I had a ton of fun and increased my knowledge of Blender features. So thank you Lucas and Tomás for the inspiration. ❤

Thanks so much ❤️ I can't promise cause there's still so much I wanna do and these take forever to make, but which Eidola song would you think could be a good candidate?
@frogge80342 ай бұрын
@@circuitsoldiers That's perfectly understandable, I'll be keeping an eye out for whatever songs you do either way! I'm no musician so I don't really know how to identify a song that would lend itself well to an orchestral composition unfortunately, I would just love to hear anything from their last two albums and probably the upcoming album. I can kinda picture Primitive Economics, Dendrochronology, Counterfeit Shrines, Forgotten Tongues or No Weapon Formed working well perhaps? I'm also tempted to say An Abstract of a Planet just because it's my favorite Eidola song lol

Dude this is so friggin cool. What is the program you use for composition? I would like to do something like this
@circuitsoldiers3 ай бұрын
Man that's awesome, do it! I'm using Cubase 13 Pro and BBC Symphony Orchestra Pro and Abby Road One by Spitfire Audio, Metropolis Ark 1-4 by Orchestral Tools and Superior Drummer 3 by Toontrack as virtual instruments. I have a few more, but they're just icing on the cake. My digital audio interface is a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 and my speakers are two Genelec 8040 BPM. My keyboard is a Roland FP-30. It doesn't have MIDI faders so I'm using Monogram Creative Console with its slider module for adding expression and dynamics to the performance of the virtual instruments. That's basically it, haha. I don't know how deep you wanna dive into this, but this shit can get both complicated and expensive quickly. But there's lots tutorials to watch on KZfaq and free software alternatives you could try and fuck around with. Send me a PM somewhere or a mail or hop into my Discord server. I'll gladly help you out with all your questions. Thanks for all your comments! I appreciate you, fellow HORSE afficionado.

whoa, thank you for sharing this!! 💗 it's great getting to hear all the parts so clearly and imagining what the mechanical hand might've sounded like if it had been recorded almost 20 years later. not to say a super clean/quantized version would be better than the original ofc, just fun to hear it in a new light! would also love to hear more of the MIDI mockups you've done for other tracks 😄here's to hoping for more in the future!
