I watched this race as a child in 1996. We're all screaming in our house from my father, mother and siblings. We felt proud being Nigerians. I never forgot the name falilat ogunkoya. We're a great people

Great era of track & field! On the men's side, the greatest lead-off runner in US Olympic/World history, former Olympic champ, and two former world record holders! With all of the great women's teams in the past, I think the WR is ripe for the picking.
