Just know that Canada’s non-union skilled trades are all exploiting their workers, this is why they prevent you from unionizing (which is illegal) and referred to as unethical business practices. Construction workers are not entitled to employment standards like severance pay and notice of termination, meaning you WILL be terminated in an instant for any reason, as long as they document it as being due to “lack of work”. The “lack of work” excuse empowers employers to terminate you for any reason. Be aware of this. Stay in school kids. Education is the only path to success in Canada. A skilled trade is not an alternative to college or university, and should be viewed as a last resort. Protect yourself from your employer by knowing your rights as a worker. Fracking is FAR less of of a source of CO2 than coal. The shift to it has actually decreased the amount of CO2 emissions in the US.

To demand from the Government to grant Permanent Resident Status for simple reason of the present pandemic situation... is like a "punch to the moon" 😃. People got to understand that there is a process... unless you have gone thru the process and qualify... it was YOU who applied to come to this foreign land... Canada is a strong country because of the rules and process that was being implemented. Canada government is always open for permanent residency application. You just need to qualify for you to apply. Its not that easy to claim PR status because if they are going to grant PR to everyone, Canada might lose its strong economy status globally. For this reason, Canada needs to protect its economy. If you don’t like their immigration rules and process, you are free to leave the country. You agreed and signed the contract regarding your status when you enter Canada, so if you think that is unfair to you, u shouldn’t sign it in the first place before entering Canada. Be humble and grateful that u have given the chance to work in Canada. Because not all people are given that opportunity.
