@ 4:30 Next time 1) Use tape to hold it temporarily, 2) Drill holes on each side of break at the bottom of handle, 3) Add glue to sides of break and holes then add dowels to reinforce and clamp for 3 days.

A very nice lamp. Well worth restoring. I like making and restoring lamps too. But I make more from moped parts and other bits and pieces laying around.

Nie wiem z jakiego jesteś kraju ale generalnie do obudowy podpina się żyły żółto-zielone nie czarne . A puszczenie samych żył przez całą lampę grozi szybkim ich przetarciem i niebezpieczeństwem porażenia przez prąd elektryczny.

Yes, we use yellow-green ground wire too. But there was black one in three-link cable. I guess historically black wire were used too. But I am not sure about it. I added some more isolation to exponed places. Thank you for your comment.

Провода проложены так, как задумано производителем. При использовании ламп на станках быстрого износа изоляции не замечал. Кстати, такими же лампами, комплектовались кульманы.

Thank you friend for your comment. No, the wood stand is not originally. There was a clamp originally. But time is changed. So I have turned this industrial lamp to table one.

Did you use a phone charger for electrolysis? I've never seen that before, can you please tell me more about it. Is it just an offthshelf charge, what voltage and amp.

You do not need accurate amp level for rust removing. Cell phone charger is good for this work because its level of amps is between 1 to 2 A. Does not matter level in this case. But If you would like to make a metal plating (for example nickel plating) you will need correct amp level. And in this case the phone charger is not good. In this case you will need reguratable power supply I have used in this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o8d5l7t5lbyagps.htmlsi=yiVTihj0YPdpUup1 because 1 A is too much for this work.

Thanks I didn't knew that, almost every time I saw someone on yt rust removing by electrolysis they had a power supply. When doing electrolysis this way does the surface of the metal or the quantity of liquid matter? Can you use a phone charger for all your rust removing needs?

@@Enigmaking I do not want answer wrong. But in my opinion the more metal for anode you use the better and mainly quicker process could be. I use adequate amount of liquid.
