I've been "in the weeds" with family stuff the last two years, and this video is really making me miss long adventurous rides.

Glad to see you are creating videos. I use to listen to Zen and the Art of Triathlon years and years ago. My favorite part of your old pod casts was always the Training. Awesome!!

@@matthewrubcic4664 Hell yeah! I think video brings ZenTri up to date with what people and sponsors want. And it’s a fun tech challenge that keeps me motivated to figure it out. Just like podcasting audio was nearly 20 years ago.

Outstanding improvement to video and in particular the audio quality. A wind guard of some sort for the mic should make it about perfect. Love when you stop along the way to show the local scenes is fun - like a bike touring video. Also, consider giving a review of the telemetry we're seeing on the screen as you cruise along. And the people demand an authentic TX rattlesnake in the wild! :-)

ALL awesome advice and will do! I think there's windscreens for my camera and I'll get some. And you better believe if I see a rattlesnake, it's gonna be ON! Kinda rare around here, but I have seen a couple over the years.

Lack of image stabilization is really frustrating. Here's a video where it worked. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sLVzi8Wd29Gtpqc.htmlsi=rgIrSINilLx7RJQX Not sure what the difference is. If it's because I published it from my laptop, then I lose the Garmin metrics overlay. Will have to do some testing to see. Will share what I find out! The other video is super smoooooooth.

It might help also because the hip flexors are weak. Try leg raises on your back while curving your low back to anterior pelvic tilt safely and do leg raises

It hurts me too.... But I was at the doctor yesterday for what I think is sciatica pain so bad that I'm out of work from it. All the doctor did was prescribe me Flexeril and Prednisone. He wants me to do physical therapy but I can't really afford it. I'll keep trying these stretches as well.

I'm a pretty tough cookie. Didn't know I even had a piriformis until a 3 week visit to Hades ! Kneeling was the only barely bearable position to ambulate. No stairs or even change in floor height possible to navigate. No standing. No pivoting. No sitting. No laying prone supine, didn't matter. I had thought it was garden variety sciatic flareup, but everything I knew to do to relieve it was hopeless. Thank you for this. Alot of people will benefit from your video. Cheers from a " weirdo !"

I found this video on Piriformis Syndrome ten plus years ago and within a few minutes of doing the stretches, the pain that had kept me up all night magically disappeared. This is my go-to video when the condition returns. I was up all night with a return visit but know I'll be fine in a few minutes.

@Brett Blanker this video has been my go-to for years in helping people learn how to stretch this area. I still do these stretches as a part of my daily workout. I don't trust running without it. Thank you very much. If ever in L.A., I owe you dinner.

That's weird. I was taught to move head and leg in same direction because it's suppose to create that flossing movement getting the nerve out of that kink or dip in the muscle where the nerve is trapped. I'll give it a shot.

If this doesn’t work, it may not be piriformis but a proximal hamstring tendinopathy. I have what I thought were piriformis symptoms (constant pain towards outside bit of lower buttock at the top of the leg, going down the back of my thigh) but have been diagnosed with a proximal hamstring tendonopathy) after seeing a specialist.
