Did you ever get the problem fixed?? You probably don't own the car any more but just curious on the out come of how the problem was fixed?

Since I posted this 'fix', the car has run PERFECTLY. Recently, I re-mounted the ECU on the factory bracket, and drovearound the neighborhood. It stalled within 2 miles, and took forever to restart. It stalled 4 times in the next mile.In this case, isolating the ECU from the strut brace fixed the problem.

My 07 Charger used to shut off while driving. It was pulling a code for an intake manifold but I don't think that's what it was. I fixed that and had the PCM reflashed at the dealership. It would later throw itself into Neutral then back into Drive when taking off from stops/red lights but I found a link online that told me a way to fix that. Now it's making a noise when I hit the gas except it goes away so idk wtf that is. Dodges are junk.

Hey I'm having this game issue with my charger. Have you found out the problem and solution yet?

I've had this intermittent/severe problem for over 11 months. Stalls out, NO code set. Any speed, hot, cold, high, low speed, etc. Senior tech friend at dealer fixes MOST stalling problems using copper core plugs and new ignition coils. This did not help my car. Long story made short... electrical noise in the engine area is conducted along strut brace above rear of engine, and it's affecting the PCM (resetting the computer) which is mounted ON the passenger side of the brace. I removed the PCM bracket, and carefully stuffed the Metal PCM downward so it is wedged between the inner fender and lower cowl. It is now isolated from the brace, and the electrical impulses, and has run perfectly for 1 month now.

I have an 06 Dodge Charger 3.5 l v6 it does the same thing. It's like it works for a while no issues and then I'm speeding up and my car looses all power and dose this thing where it beeps locks up and dose a light show with all my sensor lights. Like it's having a seizer . A code came up for the thermostat but I don't think that's why it's doing that . Going to check the coil packs this weekend . Would really appreciate some advice.

my 07 chrysler 300 is turning off at red light, i turn it back on and put it in gear rev the engine and trani takes a couple seconds to get back in gear. who knows about this

Hey did you ever get this fixed? I have an 06 Charger RT and I am having the same problem. It cuts off at slow speed like your video and on the highway cruising at 55 mph.

So did the problem fix when u changer crank and can sensor??

It just haveppened to me.. I had to pull over to side of road turned my key back and forth untill the dash lights were dashes to reset ... drove fine the rest of the way home... definitely changeing out sensors

just finished fixing this problem in my car. yes it was the cam position sensor. I also replaced the cam sensor as well. the cam sensor took 3 minuets but the cam position sensor took some time because its behind the starter and you do have to remove it to get to it. parts were about 90 dollars and I am a very happy camper right now especially because I didn't have to pay the dealership 100 dollars an hour to diagnose it. cheap scanalizer from harbor freight found the problem in 30 seconds flat.

changed both cam and crank.

resetting ecm doest fix it. but if u wanna reset it your self. disconnect the battery for one min

its a common problem. autozone keeps the part in stock

fixed mine. $31.99 part. takes 2 min to change

ecm. trust me. do a reset on the ecm i bet itlll stop. but will come back.i had the same problem as everyone here. changed my ecm and bam.

ecm. everyone on here .well mostly. try resetting the ecm i bet it stops. but will com back. u haave to change the whole ecm. the dealers try to make money off of parts and labor. the ecm is 1 bolt.i bet u change it. itll stop.

It's a speed output sensor inside the transmission cheap part $ to get to, might as well replace both for good measure, it fixed mine

I have a 06 dodge charger 2.7l and been having the same problem, I had my check engine light keep comin on and off until I cahnge the egr value and stop, but continues shuting off in gear, would my best bet be changing the cam position sensor & the crank position sensor?

I have a 2006 Dodge Charger RT and it is also doing the same thing. Why is there no recall?
