@@WideOpenOutdoorFilm Ah, interesting, thanks! I am using a Shimano Technium 3,00 meters, 10-35 g right now. Don't know if it's too stiff though.

3:33 I notice the fly is on a small loop, no knotting of the fly direct to the line. Is there any particular reason for that or is it just the way Scandinavians(I aint sure of his accent sorry) fish? thanks.

Ambidexterity is a great tool in fly fisher arsenal. Sometimes you can't cast your usual way because of obstacles on one side, or wind direction. Ability to cast with non-dominant hand helps to adapt to any fishing situations

Nice job. Ive been casting flyrods for almost 65 years. I had one lesson swinging wet flies. The rest I figured out on my own. Do I still make poor casts? Sure, Do the fish care? Not very much. The idea is to have fun. Definition of expert Ex is a hasbeen. Spert is a drip inder pressure.

Great movie, so much to learn! Thank you! The only thing that made me a bit confused is that it looked like the brake was not tightened much on the reel. If you get a decent size sea trout it is important to set a hook well. I usually hook the fish and then release the brake. Any reflections on this? And once again, thank for the video!

thes guy didnt know how to handle a rod its kinda makes me angry see someone fighting a fish so hard and probably hurts them irreversibel. Just need to open up the breaks and go for a smal walk on the river bank and then try to get a bigger net to get the fish eas out of the water
@leviheisererhahn9038Ай бұрын
maybe learn how catch a fish using the breaks of ure real. It loks horrible how you fight the fish
