Me and my late mother flew direct London - Perth - Melbourne (and return) in 2018 and it was much better than flying via Dubai or Singapore we managed to get the rear two seats (next to the toilets) at the very back of the aircraft both ways so we had no one sitting with us which was really good and handy for mum to find the toilets. It was much better for the jet lag as mum had suffered before going via Dubai but had no problems going direct.

@@SapphireBlueTravelExploresyes we had more space between the second seat and the window for baggage and no hassle of anyone wanting to climb over us or us to climb over we hardly noticed being close to the toilets and it was much easier for mum as she had broken her arm then and was still in plaster and a sling. Mum was also 84 so it made things much easier

I think you found every bronze statue in the city! What a beautiful video and tour. The city suffered horrible damage and occupation during WWII, they really did an amazing job rebuilding! We want to visit one day as we love Poland. Great video! ~Cara 😊

@@randomquestions7741 Australia is home and we love it, but with Phil’s English heritage and a love of history we love to explore the Uk. I think we love them both equally but in different ways. What about you?

@@SapphireBlueTravelExplores imo , I think I would say the UK, the architecture is more characteristic, i appreciate how it's consistently green, aus is actually a gigantic desert, beaches are better in aus but UK has good spots like Dover, Cornwall and scotland, slightly opinionated but I don't really like the way stores are set up in australia, the way it's set up in UK more interesting

We loved our short 4 days in Prague. We did not know there was a tram to the castle we walked the very very steep walk up. Whew! Great video thanks for bringing us back. It’s a beautiful city. ~Cara ❤

@@JohnandCaraRetiredTravellers the smaller quieter markets where fantastic, definitely less intense and so chilled. Yeah we won’t be running back to get more Jelly wine but it was fun to try it once😀. Most of this was filmed on my iPhone 15 pro, sometimes I use a DJI gimbal and we use DJI mics. I also use a DJI action.

We went to Hillbilly Cider today after being inspired by your video. It was a very enjoyable day. The pizzas were yummy. I was not that keen on the scrumpy or the pear cider. The others were good. My favourite was the summer berry one. The non alcoholic cider was very nice too. Highly recommend a visit to Hillbilly cider. The place is dog friendly so our dog enjoyed the day trip too.

We did it in 2018 (both ways) to Melbourne and mum who usually gets jet lagged and takes 2/3 days to get used to being in Australia was fine when she flew direct and had no problems. It’s certainly much more convenient that having to get off in Dubai or Singapore and we only had a 2 hour stop in Perth before getting back on the same aircraft to fly onto Melbourne

It won't be long and we'll be back into the Christmas Market season- well I'm not rushing it but let's face it, time flies. Lovely dance group. The stalls looked very nice4 indeed. Nothig like a sprinkling of snow to bring the Christmas mood alive. White Christmasses of days gone by aren't what they used to be. As.a child I recall sinking quite deep into the snow almost over the snow boots edge. These days we can almost BBQ at Christmas time. Lots of changes. I do prefer the dark days/nights and cold though at Christmas. Never got used to Christmas at the beach. Another lovely market video Kerryn and Phil. 🇳🇱🙋♀🥝

I've seen a few Auschwitz videos and when you posted it, was in the time when ma passed away. I have to say though, I just can't see it again. Living in Europe there is so much emphasis and attention for this dreadful time - one can't escape it. Sorry for not watching. I will watch this with a different view. I will run the video tonight for the watch-time for you. Those poor horses 🥹. Caves and underground spaces are fine while sitting on my chair above ground. It's actually quite revealing what goe son under our feet...very informative and interesting Kerryn. Thank you. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝

Thank you for bringing us back! We loved this tour we did it a separate day from Auschwitz. There was a woman on our tour who began to panic and had to be rushed up to the top. So if you are claustrophobic take note. I recommend anyone visiting the area to take the tour it was a very unique experience. Great video!!! ~Cara ❤

Hello Cara, It would have been my preference to do the separately, but my sister was with us and she join us while in Krakow so we did the two in one trip. A good way to do it with limited time. We supported a lady having a panic attack getting in the lift. Unfortunately I know all about dealing with panic attacks so between my sister and I we supported her and her sister. It is a great tour glad you enjoyed it as well😀. Thank you for watching.

Have you ever been to Auschwitz or any other concentration camp? We have visited Dachu just outside Munich a few years ago and walking through places like this, helps me understand the harshness of the camp.

such a scenic drive to Hillbilly Cider, and Hillbilly Cider is a lovely place to get some cider of course and pizza. with 4 glasses of cider and pizza, that must be fun, and enjoyable. Us too, we love pineapple pizza. this makes me hungry😀 I would like to taste all the four ciders Scrumpy cloudy Apple, Crushed Apple, Pear, and Summer Cider, if I happen to be in Bilpin. thank you for taking us along with you to Hillbilly Cider. Another lovely city on your journey. More beautiful architecture and history. And more snow! Though the winters are becoming more mild, you did have a lovely white experience. That adds to the mystery and charm of this old and interesting city. The meals looked lovely, true winter meals to help fight off the chills outside. Comfortable accommodation. You sure did pack in as much as you could in the time you had. I'm thankful to be able to watch and learn from the comfort of my chair in my Woman Cave. You'' no doubt have many wonderful memories of this epic trip. Once again, thanks for sharing. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
