@@malcolmtudor8039 There is a HAG30 version which supplements the HAG30s with either ERLL or LPLs. Not sure which build is better and opinions do defer. What is sure is that they are work and all are brutal. I like this version because it's simple to play. - BrioS

@@ratofnihm TComp is mainly used to increase range of lasers or velocity of ballistics (excluding LB) and PPCs. TCom1 is very sweet. - BrioS

@@ClanBRxV I know what weapons the tcomp affects, but I'm not sure you do. Tcomp velocity buff does not work on gauss. it only works on peeps and non-lbx auto cannons. Tcomp does nothing for anything in the gauss weapon family, unless it's another unpublished PGI screw up that was never fixed, and is being exploited by tryhards.

​@@kingslaphappy1533 I'm saying that ppl who read the tcomp description where it specifies that it only works on PPCs and ACs (except lbx versions of AC weapons), and incorrectly conclude that means the velocity buff works on missiles, mgs and gauss need to work on their reading comprehension.

@@korvusknull1447 LoL... No need for apologies and don't worry about it as some manner of blocking often happens. Not that we have a rear view mirror. It wasn't so bad. Some others really have bad situational awareness. I just came out of a match where an ultraviolet walked in front of my MADIICD on Emerald as I was trading and just took that spot, with his ass in my face. Now THAT is blocking (of firing lines) 🤣 - BrioS

Like I said: I'm not a fan of KGCs. They are definitely XL friendly though as most of the time, death will be by CT destruction anyway so might as well go XL. As with all things, with practice and an understanding of the idiosyncrasies of the KGC chassis, performance will get better ;) - BrioS

That's about all I know! Learning a few phrases is always fun although I do struggle with languages. Lots of Germans play the game which is not surprising. What is surprising is that so many Singaporeans (like me) play this game. Surprising because Singapore is so small (it is the size of New York) but is still so well represented in the game. Brawl is still very strong in the game and that's a nice build. Uses the -10% quirk which is massive on its own. The ECM does allow it to get closer without drawing too much attention so also very legit. This KGC is pretty sweet and can run many legit builds! - BrioS

The head hitbox is of a reasonable size but yeah, it is right smack in the centre so it often gets hit. Similar problem (but not as severe tbh) as other centre-CT-cockpit mechs like the Jagermechs. - BrioS

@@fLamerelite oh, it doesn't have a HSL quirk. You can run 7 ERML for not-a-ridiculous amount of GH. Additional damage is always nice when you need it and one can always cool down between shots. - BrioS

@@deeber3960 Thanks! I was able to find a nice lightning-based wallpaper which suited the lighting on my Zeus so that turned out well. As for the RT mount, it's massive so it deserved some big guns. Surprisingly don't get XL checked that often despite it sticking out like a sore thumb. But I guess it's just a matter of time... - BrioS

@@XKS99 For hill humping, hard brake is good as it allows you to decelerate fast as you go up and then reverse faster as you return to cover. With the high RT, this mech does well hill humping. - BrioS

Seems to be a thing. The pay mechs often have good quirks and mounts, some gimmick that sets them appart. Like the Blackhawk Ku and its 60% cooldown on ballistic weapons..Too good for the long run. By the time the Cauldron nerfs something like the Scaleshot Viper or the Ku…people have already bought it, its non refundable now.

@@kingslaphappy1533 Both those mechs are still really strong. No need to refund anything. If you buy something because it's too strong, dont go Pikachu face when it gets nerfed. Newly released mechs need to be good (not op) or they wont sell because no one buys a bad mech. Issue is they dont have much to test them with. TSP mechs are quite strong, but at least for the Cicada and Zeus there are good free alternatives. Not sure about the Atlas yet.

Cidada will get blown out of the sky, it will hands down lose 1v1 against an 8-magshot flea (because the flea has microhitboxes that don't match the visuals). It will also lose vs the warthog (which isn't p2w anymore since you can just buy it ingame). Zeus is a barndoor sized target and the only good hardpoint on it is that massive shoulderpylon sticking up which makes it an even bigger target. The atlas is quite fun but if you are going to boat mrm's or snubs you'll be cooking yourself almost immidiately. I run my atlas with 6 small pulselasers and 4x artemis srm6, by far the fastest atlas but spiritbear is faster and its lone ballistic hardpoint is worth quite a lot since it can hold cool running weapons... nothing sucks as much has having to cool down in the face of the enemy. Edit: I don't think either of the TSP mechs are super good... the Zeus might be the best version of its chassi but that isn't saying much. Cicada has much better versions and the Atlas has somewhat better.

@@robertrequiredfield5064 I did die occasionally from being XL checked tbh but generally Warhammers have pretty good hitboxes and spreads damage well. My defensive play still needs work believe it or not but this is why a lot of the skilled players run IS XL: they spread the damage and kill you faster (with the tonnage saved from XL) than you can kill them. A lot of other benefits one can do with the tonnage from using IS XL... - BrioS

It takes experience to get a "feel" of how the team is gonna rotate. I held the left as long as I could or the enemy would have pushed through en masse and murdered my team. Made sense to pin them down as long as I can before falling back. Helped that my main weapons were on my left so I expose minimally. That being said, team DID rotate away from their push on our left (see the Warlord turn tail and run then blame the team) and I eventually had to fall back under too much pressure. Thankfully I had speed and mobility in my Fang so it was easier to fall back. I just wish teams would hold and push the enemy for cresting the hill rather than fall back at the first sign of pressure.... 😓 - BrioS

That's also very legit. Personally I almost always prefer DPS over survivability but that's more of a personal preference thing. With the additional tonnage from XL giving additional tonnage for speed/firepower/etc, it helps many players be a bigger threat. Survivability can be improved by skill like twisting, better positioning, etc. I actually ran LFE + 3 LXPL before with the right side used to shield (and then you can dab!) but just didn't like it. But no shame using LFE; like I said : personal preference. ;) - BrioS

A lot of the more highly skilled players exhibit excellent defensive skills and tbh defensive play is one of my weakest and not at their level. But I run XL on a lot of my IS builds to practice these defensive skills (like twisting damage away, etc). Any mech can be "tankier" that way. That being said, Dragon can be made to be a tanky brawler with LFE or even Standard engine but.. nah.... - BrioS

Dragons are pretty legit now and the Fang is just amazing! Other builds are arguably better but I just love the constant pewpew of those LXPLs... - BrioS

Old HPG was honestly very NASCARish due to the dual tier middle section. Fun but I prefer current HPG. Also I played so terribly back in the day 😅 - BrioS
