This performance was for the Bob Hope Goes To College Special (which aired from seven various college campuses) in Season 34 Episode 2. She sang her song Flashdance...What a Feeling at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida on Nov. 23, 1983 at their outdoor stadium.

What an EXCELLENT video !!! This is the area that "filled up loke a bathtub." And this drive from opposite direction thru the town it destroyed is UNBELIEVABLE LOOK how high the water was as she came down towards sea level 😳😳😳 Ive seen all these videos so many times now .. its kinda my addiction oddly enought. This video is a true gem since i guess the Japanese government doesnt allow much of their own coverage to be put online !?!? Thanks for sharing this

The 70s and 80s had the best music out there, Irene Cara had what it took to make it to the top and she did so in a short time and didn't let that get to her head, she was all about making the audience happy and participate in the songs....
This video has been ripped off from the original 2011 version. Thats why it is showing up all of a sudden.

the catastrophe took place in 2011, where technology reached its peak and everyone could film the tsunami. worst disaster, best time.

Imagine being religious and claiming your God created everything and has a plan for everyone and everything that happens is according to God's Plan then being in a Tsunami and losing everything you ever owned and even some loved ones then you pray to the very God you always say has a plan for you and therefore caused that Tsunami to happen? Yeah, that'd be stupid and very contradicting. It'd be like taking your rapist out to dinner after he attacks you. Religion Creates Stupid
Canzone molto difficile da interpretare con difficili passaggi di voce. Bravissima, meravigliosa, riesce anche nell'ultimo vocalizzo senza cadere mai. Brava, brava 🌹🌹🌸🌸
