I can easily fly in all directions both upright and inverted except inverted flight forward. Inverted flight forward is just so hard to master, so It's 100 times harder for me than doing piroflips. No, I can fly circles forward being inverted but cannot do it slow and precise as I'm having problem with braking, so I always have to bail out via piroflip to the upright position in order to stop the helicopter. I guess I've missed something.

So which motor ran cooler? With the lack of airflow inside of a canopy, I would think the Xnova was the cooler motor?

I've only recently got back into heli flying with my quivering little Blade 130X (still too nervous to fly my TRex 500!). You make some really good points - esp the part about keeping the tail horizontally level during bank turns. Bloody near lost it a few times when the heli is 'crabbing' sideways at speed on the exit from the turn, and you lose confidence completely (and often put her in). I'll now work on the level boom during banked turns, and the dreaded reverse figure 8. Glad I found this great series of Aussie training vids to practice both in Real Flight and our on the field. Cheers.

Not a fair test in my opinion. unless both motors running exact same esc, batteries pwm rate and being loaded as equally tested. xnova was hardly being loaded as opposed to kde being pushed from start to finish

Is three a noticeable differences with the dfc? I have a quantum with 23t, not enough power I was considering the Tariq but I didn't want to suffer lose of flight time... Nice flying

Here's what I do. I just "visualize myself" standing behind the heli. Then cyclic control is instinctive and obvious.

Wow, that's really helping. I am just starting with cp heli. I'm spending hrs of time on the Sim. 8 months and still can't fly inverted, only hovering... I'm going to try this now!! More videos!

Very informative, and well explained, like the rudder orientation idea of how to think of it moving what's facing you when inverted irrespective of whether it's the tail or nose

Thankyou for the review. As the lead developer for AccuRC there are a couple of things I can respond to that are mentioned here. Regarding ambience lighting, because the sceneries available in AccuRC are currently only panoramic photos there is actually nothing for the ambient light to illuminate as it is just a photograph made to look like a 3D field. If the field was actually full 3D geometry based the ambient light would illuminate other objects, grass, trees etc. It's not a missing feature or omission but a limitation of using a panoramic scenery. Also the ambient lighting is unique, other sims don't do it at all, so I do feel it has been a little under-rated considering you won't see it anywhere else - just my opinion of course,

Thankyou Ashley, support on our forum has been good regarding this simulator. I understand the programing challenges regarding the use of panoramic photos in simulators - the light cant reflect of photos as if they were objects. One thing that would be very nice would be grass objects rather than photos. The ability of the rotor wash to affect the surrounding grass - and even grass cutting! I know many of the hard core 3d guys would love this expecially considering the flight dynamics as well. But at any rate I congratulate you on this simulator. We were critical in comparing your Accurc to an Ideal, rather than comparing to the current bench mark of available simulators. Your simulator does feel very real once you play with the settings. I own about 5 different sims and yours is the favorite for feel....

This is the helicopter that poor Min borowed. Unfortunately it appears that the helicopter had boom strike halfway through a wall maneuver. Those who witnessed the event were in awe. Pieces went everywhere and a loud thump like someone slammed a car door shut echoed through the pits. This definitely is a nomination for heligods rc crash of the year.
