We used to have these bed packs we used to make up, so I’d leave that on the floor and sleeping bag on the bed, all I’d need to do is sort the bed pack onto the bed in the morning, easy shit 😂 worst night sleep I had was when you sow your name tags into your kit, we were all up gone 1am having to get up at 5am, ended up sowing a sock into my hand, not as dramatically as it sounds 😂

Should be female formations. Average female is like 20-30kg lighter than a male. If the formation for example was a company figure out how a company of female soldiers can carry the same amount of kit or not. Israelis have female only formations.

Perfecty fine for rear line duty mechanic, food, office work. Perfectly fine for vehicle combat and medical roles including evacuation. However never been convinced that front line was the best of ideas without dropping standards over all to allow enough women to make it in to justify the expense

I’m 6foot and struggled with the 6 foot wall. My mate in a different troop was small and I said how did you get over it. His answer was I only got over it twice. One on bottom field pass out and the other on the Tarzan assault course. The rest of the time the pti’s told him to run round 🤣

Absolutely love this podcast as somebody going through military prep in a gap year and I genuinely look forward to the various segments for some free insight into the corps and general fitness etc on a weekly basis . Nevertheless, regardless of where one falls on the political spectrum, it really does seem unfathomable to me as a 19 year old first time Labour voter in the recent general election that Eddie's instinct is to label Trump as helmet of the week due to his populist approach rather than just simply condemn any acts of political violence against a presidential candidate. I will never be Trump's biggest fan but I am intrigued by Eddie's instinct to call out Trump's polarising nature as a politician rather than simply being able to award helmet of the week to the lunatic that tried to assassinate him. If vice versa where to apply to Biden I suspect there would be a very different narrative from Rex. Just my opinion. Keep up the good work fellas...

Really enjoying your stuff so far. Meant no disrespect on the last comment. I wonder what really are the chances of getting that lucky with Norwegian girls? Because to be fair I would invest a bit to put it simply they're some of the best looking on Earth. To me that side of the world is somewhat exotic and not too distant yet at the same time distant from us Anglos.

A Walter Mitty doesn't just relate to the army. It's someone who lives in a fantasy world. Makes up stories to make themselves look more interesting. Comes from the old film . Forget the actors name now who played him . I believe there was a remake made of the film.
