So in terms of gear here's a list: Ormsby Hype GTR 8 GGD Modern Fusion Spitfire Audio LABS library And a bit of the free Kontakt stuff The guitar is tuned to EAeadgbe, and is completely stock My sound is probably unique solely due to me still not being very good at this 😅 Remember there's free tabs in both PDF and guitar pro files id you wanna try it out😁

@@simonjoudon You said that "My sound is probably unique due to me still not being very good at this 🙂" to which I say - nope, your skills are right up there, the "unique" sound I am hearing is more of a tone? Iduno, but your playing is high end. I know we are all our own worst critics so I do get that. I really like the sound, the tone... it kind of has a digital feeling to it if that means anything. There is a song by Polyphia called Persevere featuring Aaron Marshal from the band Intervals - there are some licks in that song that have a tone that I find to be vaguely similar to the one you are getting. It is more than a tone though, they must be using octavers on the track or something but I have searched and asked for a long time an I have not found a single straight forward answer for that song. If you never heard that song give it a listen, it is an awesome song and the tones and character of the guitars on it are simply stellar. Oh, and thanks for your reply to my post! Cheers.
@genjitsu7448
@genjitsu7448 Ай бұрын
@@simonjoudon Oh yea, one more thing... Thanks a ton for the tabs, etc. that is super cool of you to share. That said, I have not played guitar for over a year now... about a year ago we had a pipe break and all of my equipment got soaked and ruined! And ssome of it was only a few weeks old as I had just landed a new full time job and wanted to get a good audio interface (I got an Audient iD4, a decent $500 laptop for the DAW and related items... that really was about it but it and lots of other electronics such as my receiver and PS4 all got trashed! When I first got home to the mess it took hours to get rid of all of the standing water. I did not notice that a bin that contained my hard drives from all of my computers that I ever owned (and therefore all of the data and files on them) were all soaking in water and it was a few weeks later until I came across the bin and by that time it was too late, they were trashed) Pictures, family videos, work files, you name it, all gone. And I guess I got super bummed out and kind of fell into a funk of sorts and just lost interest in playing... need to shake it off sometime soon. I have played guitar for decades by the way. I did replace the interface with a less expensive one (Still an Audient, but I got the EVO...) sounds great, the construction is kind of cheap but in the end that should not matter a single bit. I ended up using a used but good condition laptop that a friend was nice enough to part with. But the PS4 is gone, the receiver, gone (replaced with a $89 unit found as a scratch and dent" and it is good enough) The TV somehow survived but the picture frequently has these waves of dark patches that appear, and it would seem that smacking the back of the panel in just the right place, with just the right force gets it to stop for a while... Sometimes it just won't go away and it is really hard to see anything on the left hand side of the screen. Thanks for reading if you got this far! Cheers.

@@genjitsu7448 You're too kind my good man I'm a huge Polyphia fan, but haven't listened too much to Inspire. I'll be sure to check it out! This riff specifically is triple-tracked with 2 distorted tones, 1 Clean. The playing is doubled by the LABS bass and a synth, so that May very well be the digital feeling you're describing. It is far from analog :)
