One of my favourite albums. Superb rendition. What a very talented musician. But where is "To The Shore"? And why does "Is There Something I Should Know" feature? (That was a 1983 single release).

Great playing and great sound.. I see you’re playing an SB1000 re-issue.. I have a question about the thickness of the neck at the first fret.. Do you know if it’s the same as a 1980s SB1000? I had a JT model and it was much thinner and It drove me nuts! Thank you for entertaining us!! Cheers

G*d D**n! How young they are and they can PLAY! They should've been around MUCH longer. Heyward's voice is strong, on point, confident. Excellent.

Bravo ... well nailed! Back in the 80's in Highschool I taught myself all the drum parts to a variety of Banshees albums ... I would come home from school and sit down at the kit and usually play through the entire Nocturne Live Concert album - note for note ... did same with Tinderbox, JuJu and many others. A little later I taught myself all the Guitar parts by John MvGeoch and play through the entire albums ... it's a discipline and something all musicians should do. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

Why the whole step detuning of the D and G strings? The song is in the repertoire of the band I play for and I would like to add that harmonic slide, but honestly have no desire to detune/retune strings…

every once in a while I came back here to watch it, this has to be one of the best videos on youtube. this guy changes between a fretless and a regular bass like if it's nothing... some guy said on the comments, The internet is amazing!

Kristian Dunn has a ton of talent. But this video is one of my favorites and I too come back to it every once in awhile. Meanwhile I'm a fan of El Ten Eleven as well.

Bloody awesome! 👏🏻🎉 As someone else, like a lot of comments on here, who is into metal, punk etc.. I’ll never get tired of Duran Duran! Growing up in the 80s I was into Duran and Slayer at the same time, seen them about three times and they never disappoint! Totally underrated awesome band. 👍🏻👏🏻

I actually felt less self-conscious playing with you (without tabs) than I do normally. I still can't hit the bridge, but I love watching you do it. You make it look effortless (it's not, I know you finger every note), but there you are!
@Dax893Ай бұрын
You got me with Duran Duran, but I'm subbing for Simple Minds. You even got me dancing to no one in particular with this video. Subbed, and I truly wish my hands were as good as yours. 10/10.

Amazing - that’s many many notes to not only play but remember- Also just think John Taylor wrote and played this at age 22 in the early 80s

You single handedly gave me my song of the year. This came up in my suggested one day while I was doing schoolwork. I have listened to this album a sickening amount over the last 6-8 months. More specifically, I’ve listened to Someone Somewhere probably 200 times already this year. Your work is exquisite. You play with elegance, and clearly have honed your craft. Keep it up, cheers!

Watched it all again, Forbes was a machine, bass lines so good, an album that must have inspired musicians to push their art.
