I couldn’t even price this one. I made it with old stock and I don’t know how much it would be to have another similar figure printed. I can’t get the goal net stuff anymore. But a similar style figure would be at least in the $300 area.

I want to make custom Funko, but I think seeing the brush strokes in the final product looks bad. I feel like I'd need to air brush them to achieve a cleaner look
@custommadeeverything Жыл бұрын
Airbrush certainly is one way to go. It’s what I do for my base coats. But you can achieve a very clean look with a brush. But you must thin your paint.
@OaklynMediaLLC Жыл бұрын
@custommadeeverything I have never made a custom pop. I just see a lot that are really sloppy looking. Not yours, but many on line ebay look rough and I'd like them to look not hand made.
@custommadeeverything Жыл бұрын
@@OaklynMediaLLC air brush will help. But there is a process to preparing your figure for brushing. Practice is required for brushing or air brushing to achieve a nice clean look. I encourage you to dive in and try it. Don’t expect perfection in your first go. And don’t stop trying. You can do this.

@@custommadeeverythinghey! I was hoping you could help me with a question, i like to handle my out of box ones quite often, looking at them, Dusting then, but i notice on some of my older ones, the paint wearing down in some spots, its just a common so not a big deal but what's something i could spray on them that would protect them from handling? I was thinking a clear coat of some sort but some people said certain ones can have a bad reaction with the plastic? Any help and info would be appreciated!!
@custommadeeverything9 ай бұрын
@@afrolintin Use UV resistant spray clear coat by Krylon. I would suggest matte finish. But what you have been told is correct. They could end up being sticky. My follow up to the aerosol clear is an airbrushed matte clear coat. There is something in the aerosol that is not in the airbrush clear that makes the figures go sticky. If I were you I would just leave them stick and if they’re commons just replace them.
@strike344 Жыл бұрын
What chemical did you use to remove the paint? I bought a pop with a black line printed on the cheek that shouldn’t be there and I wanted to remove it without damaging the pop itself
@sarafinamariebeauty7666 Жыл бұрын
Nail polish remover with acetone. Or just acetone
@custommadeeverything Жыл бұрын
I tried nail polishes remove. It clearly didn’t have enough acetone in it. So straight up acetone is what I use. Test the acetone on the head you’re speaking of. Make sure the head is molded in skin tone vinyl and not painted. Most likely molded though.
