why is the stadium almost empty??
@MrGraeme1997
@MrGraeme1997 Күн бұрын
@@Jirik1995 It wasn’t empty. It was just that it took time for everyone to get there before the Foo Fighters went on. Plus those seats and areas you saw in the stadium that were empty ended up being that way for a reason. The stadium did not allow anyone seats for that side because all the seats there were behind the stage so anyone who otherwise would’ve sat there would not have been able to see any of the bands on stage during the show and especially since there are no huge screens on display that could’ve faced them from the opposite side projecting the part of the stage where they would’ve been able to see the performers.

I just saw Randy Bachman band at the Lee Family Forum in Henderson Nevada in 7/19/24 & the previous commenters’ take was dead on. Without Fred Turner or someone who sounds like him, this is not Bachman Turner Overdrive! I feel shafted & if life was fair they would give me & everyone else there a refund! Don’t waste your money on this sham concert. Just go to KZfaq. RIP BTO!

I'm sorry, but I don't think it's the same without Turner's vocals. Not even close. Roll on down the highway has been my favorite song since childhood, but I believe it's time for this band to move on. I still love Roll and listen to it during my heaviest deadlift sets, but respectfully, it's time to call it a day. This doesn't diminish my admiration for the band in any way. Still love then dearly. Just not in this lineup.

Doesn't seem right to call this Bachman-Turner Overdrive when Fred Turner is nowhere to be seen. Call it the Bachman Band or something. I'm sure this band plays well and sounds good. And I'm sure Turner signed off on his name being used. But for me it gave a false expectation. His voice was a MAJOR draw for this band. Thanks for the video though.

Indeed they were. Coming from New Jersey they also had another show the night before at the Wellmont theater in Montclair and that’s only 20 mins away and much closer to where I live. Would’ve enjoyed that show as well but I enjoyed this one just as much starting with how the everyone from the band realized that people were coming in late as a lot of them were coming from other places far from Westbury within the Tri-State and decided not to start the show until about half and hour later than originally planned, once everyone was seated. Very considerate of them. Another reason to love them and that venue. Also used to live in Westbury in Long Island for a while and therefore not being far from there at all, until I had moved back to Jersey almost 4 years ago. Plus having Ken Dashow from Q104.3 making a surprise guest appearance and giving an opening introduction to them made this one even somewhat better. Not sure if he was at the Montclair NJ show the night before and did the same there as well, but I do know someone personally who went to that one so I’d have to ask them.

He’s not part of the band anymore. From I recently learned between a discussion I had about this with my dad as well as a recent Google search, he left the band back in the late 90s (1998 to be exact). The only 2 original members remaining in the band today are Don Brewer for the vocals, drums, and writing, and Mel Schacher for the bass, and those were the only 2 original members you noticed thru out the video.

Hey, I’m from New Jersey too! My family and I spent the night another similar resort and casino after the show before heading back home the next day because of how far the venue and Atlantic City altogether is from us. We didn’t think we would make it to the show because of the horrendous and treacherous rain we drove thru on our way there. Plus we were originally set to sit apart from each other because a couple other people bought tickets for the seats in between us but thankfully that never happened as they never showed up so we were all thankfully together. The band was great and it was such a great night despite all we went thru on our way there. And I’m glad that you and your son enjoyed the concert like we did. And much love to you and all your loved ones out in Ireland from the U.S. and especially right here from Jersey !!! ❤️💙🤍🇺🇸 💚🤍🧡🇮🇪🌊☀️🌺🏝️

@@annajaye6380 You’re very welcome. Speaking of all of this since you brought this up, if all of that is the case, then you would turn out to be a pro by handling such treacherous rain and flooding a whole lot better than we normally would. We were somehow able to go thru with the heavy rainstorm and flooding without much of any problems. While we were sitting in our car driving thru the storm and floods on our way to the venue Im not gonna lie, I really had a concern that we were gonna be stuck in the rain and flooding, and/or even be involved in any accident up ahead that could’ve happened as well especially since the van we drove there with wasn’t really made to handle any of those things well. Thankfully, and luckily however, none of those things happened, and we were able to make it there safely and successfully just about an hour before the show even began. You guys might be able to handle these things like a pro, although we on the other sure as hell won’t be driving thru any such rain or flooding again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else doing so to see their favorite band or artist live in concert, especially if they have a car that wasn’t made to handle driving thru any of those things like we were. Turns out that had to have been why those other people who bought tickets for the seats that were supposed to be in between us to split us apart from each other never showed up, but on the flip side for that being that they never showed up we were all able to sit together which is what we would all prefer doing and normally would do being that we would go to these live events at these places together. And you should’ve also seen or at least heard about the continuous rain and flooding we had in our area thru out the tri-state where were from all thru out the week following the weekend where the show took place, it continued all thru out the following weekend and was damaging for a lot of other people in a lot of places in the tri-state, but thankfully not at all for us in particular. Glad to hear that you and your son once again enjoyed the show however like we did despite all of that, and hope you guys are able to see them again soon and also enjoy the next live concert for other of the greatest legendary American artists and groups on your next visit here. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸 💚🤍🧡🇮🇪
