The best fix I found was ditching my so called "better" Apple Silicon system and going back to Intel, which is better for music production because faster USB/SSD transfer speeds and more. My little MBP 15" 2015 runs circles around the M1 in Logic Pro 😂 people need to come forward, stop flexing and just admit that Apple Silicon actually sucks.

Yep you’re not wrong. This lesson is aimed at someone who doesn’t want to bring two guitars to a gig or just tune their guitar differently for this one song. Kind of a hack to get through the song without all of that hassle…
