Apparently, the coach, as a method of travel, is so uncomfortable and poorly designed, everyone who has ever ridden in it, from George IV to Queen Elizabeth absolutely hated every minute in it. Apparently Victoria really hated it. And apparently when Queen Elizabeth rode in it for Her coronation, she hated every minute in the lumbering, bumpy, swaying monstrosity. They did drag it out for Her Majesty’s 70th Jubilee, but a holographic Queen rode inside it.
