Shame the most tracks with dirt are closed up. This new track is carpet. =/

Great video. What would be the sequencing order to setup your car? Same as un the video? Tire, shocks, camber, toe in?

I don't think that ride height had anything to do with it. Distractions.... Children should be seen not heard. 8:16

For a beginner I think the shock package is more important. Later tires are more important. Just my opinion

Feel like I found you way too late haha I race SCT with a hacked diy'd tuned and modded 2wd Slash with second hand tires. Last time I raced against a TLR in a tight dirt track, open diff was no match against it. Made many mistakes while focusing on catching it while being in second place, then settled into kicking the rest of the field down one lap, and I did, finishing second every time and each time closer to the losi There will be times when you'll be outclassed and you just need to settle and make the best of it. Quite hard to avoid getting tilted over really.

Should I camber my off road rc? It's a Traxxas rustler and I use it mainly on grass, gravel, and pavement.

so I kinda did everything you said not to do (I'm looking for ways to improve my rc) I just got into it and made my own rc car with a 3d printer everythin is 3d printed down to the tires

Thank you. Getting into rc again after 16 years and the 2wd. Buggy is my preferance. My local track is super loose gravel/clay mix and bumpy. Mid motor cars are a new thing to me.

what would you recommend for someone getting into the RC racing hobby for first RC 1/10 scale buggy
@BradRC2 жыл бұрын
Most people start off with short course as 1/10 buggy is probably the hardest and most competitive class. But if you wanna start off with buggy it may be a harder learning curve but you’ll definitely learn from your mistakes quicker and possibly progress faster. Though there may be more headaches starting out.

Great video. I need help. I have a losi db pro. I run on my own track. 8 ft wide. 40 second lap time with a quad and 3 other jumps with whoops. Its hard underneath with a loose surface kinda dusty especially when it's dry. What shock oil weight would you recommend I use.

Hello, thank you for the cool video. You have a new subscription. Can I ask you what I can do if my 2WD car understeers too much on high grip? I have already tried to get more weight forward. Do you have any other tips for adjustments? Thanks and best regards
@BradRC2 жыл бұрын
You can try a softer front spring or move the shock location on the shock tower out a hole or move the battery position forward. What you may have to do if it’s low grip is try to get more rotation out of the rear so it doesn’t push. With that you can’t a stiffer rear spring or or raising your roll center or going to a thicker oil What can also help as well is less droop Hope this helps try one thing at a time till you find what your looking for. Thanks for the support!

@@BradRC Hi Brad, thank you very much for your answer. I have recently started driving 2WD. I will try your suggestions - point by point. The important thing, as you say, is to make and test only 1 change at a time. The first test will be to move the shock location on the shock tower out a hole. Best regards from Austria.

Thanks for watching first off! I’d have to say I enjoy 2wd more I like how precise you gotta be but that’s just me. I know a lot of guys like 4wd because you can just “ send it “ because it’s more forgiving. But all in all there both awesome cars!
