Thank you for the explanation! I feel like my family is very similar. One question about the $ limit per incident: if I go 3 times to the ER throughout the year for 3 unrelated issues, does that mean I will have to pay $1,000 every time (so $3,000) if each bill is for several thousands? Thanks!

What if we crossed the Jersey with the Jurassic?! I think we will get the characteristics of both breeds together, and the hybrid will be in the middle of the characteristics of both. What do you think of that crossing?!

We drank so much milk as kids our dad went and got a cow. That's when I learned cows don't give milk. You have to take it from them 😅

We only had one cow, a Guernsey named Essie, and of course, we milked her by hand. Richest milk I've ever had, and the ice cream and butter we made with the cream were out of this world.

Ah yes, raw liver and eggs. They are completely harmless when they are fresh and sourced from farms with strict adherence to cleanliness and freshness standards. So I agree with you on that. What I don’t agree with is you keeping your kids home and murdering their social future.

Homeschool always makes me think of the time I was playing Scrabble, and the homeschooling mother told me "stealthy" wasn't a word. Parenting style is one thing, but please send them to highschool to be taught things you don't know and socialized with peers

I always heard that feeding them egg shells was playing with fire. That you might not get any eggs because they'll start seeing them as food. I have also heard that people crush the egg shells to unrecognizable smithereens and put it in the food

My Grand mother had a Jersey that was extremely protective of her offspring. One day my Grandmother got between her and her calf and my grandmother got "nailed". She came to our house (my mom was a nurse) all bloody about the head & shoulders. My mom bandaged her up and from then on we kids knew that cow as "Meanie".

My dear, this is what we call strained yoghurt. yoghurt is watery. When the solid part is finished, we make ayran. In other words, we add a water and a lot of salt to that abundant juicy yoghurt. If you search for "Ayran" you will see the national drink of Turks :) Do not make yoghurt from skimmed milk. The fat content of milk affects the energy and nutritional value of yoghurt. Yoghurt made from fattier milk may be higher in calories. However, fat can increase the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E and K. Also, let me teach you the Turkish formula, you don't need to strain the yoghurt after making it. at the stage of putting it in the refrigerator, put a towel (or that cloth you use) in full contact with the top surface and take the edges of the towel out. put a tray under the pot because that towel will take all the water from the yoghurt and drain it into the tray. this will save you from waiting an extra 4-5 hours and the trouble of straining. also, when the yoghurt stays outside, it starts to spoil, that is, it starts to sour quickly; thus, the life of the yoghurt you make will be extended.
@thetreasureinthefield3 ай бұрын
How long does it take for the towel to absorb the liquid with this method?
@aslanyureky3 ай бұрын
@@thetreasureinthefield I keep it 10ish hours. I recommend you to mix Jersey milk with buffalo milk.
