Aww there's something so cute and nice about watching baby chicks sleeping. I need to get a pic of my Chicklet and Tux. Perhaps you could tell me what color they are. I'll let you know when I post it on my community page. I call Chicklet my calico because she's orange with black and white flowers. That's my fave.

Thank you 😊 ❤️, there are a couple with pinkish wattles in this group so in the coming 3 weeks I should be able to determine if they are cockerels. The one that looks at the camera does have quite pink wattles, well spotted 😉👍. I was thinking I had mainly blue based reds in this hatch, however, as they develop I think there are a couple of black based yellows (the USA 🇺🇸 call the colour snow leopard)... Exciting to see how they are changing, especially the ones with more white. 🙂

@@swedishflowerpoultry Oh wow yes. I can't wait to see what you get. Oh wonderful. Yeah we make a big deal about those in the US, the snow leopard. Well I exaggerate. Not many people know about Swedish Flower Hens still. I learned about those from my favorite shop called My Pet Chicken. They've always been sold out though. I had to get hatching eggs to get mine.

I aquired 5 today, thats all I could get! But from very nice stock. From a woman who takes great care of her flock, and who's husband makes the finest furniture ive ever seen.. We went way out of our way to get just 5 available chicks, but it was well worth the 8 hour drive very exciting to find them in Canada as they are few and fare between.. I've seen a few heavily crossed birds being offered, but nothing as the quality I have found today.. And now seeing this video, the hens.. looked just like you're birds.. Just beautiful..

Hi, my two week old Wyandotte chick is very taken with these and wanted to join them and tried to go through my iPad screen to them. It had not seen any other chicks before as it was the only one to hatch from a batch of hatching eggs sent to me in a polystyrene box.

I have two that I adopted. They are at least 9 years old. They are the meanest out of all my chickens, but friendly with humans. They are not shy at all.

Lovely video. I LOVE my three Swedish Flower Hens. One is a rooster. I love this breed. If I get a bigger coop some day I hope to get a few more hens to get some genetic diversity. They have the same father but one hen Tuxand my roo Penguin have the same mother. Chicklet is a calico and had a different mom.

OH they are so lovely. I'm in love with this breed. Easily one of my top three faves. What kind of dog is that? I have three Swedish Flowers. Two hens and a rooster. I have a video that shows all my hens called Meet My Chicken Flock 2023.

They are lovely! I am fascinated by the color varieties and names. I will have to post a video of the three I have. A rooster and two hens. Chicklet my hen is a lovely calico color. Orange with black and white flowers. My roo named Penguin has every color of the rainbow. He's mostly white with blonde corn silk mane and saddle. Black and white flower breast, huge red wattles and comb and the greeny blue tail with white.
