Idk if anyone knows but soul himself have said he’s not confident in his korean yet and that’s why he prefer dancing over singing, which is probably why they always give him a dance break in their songs and their concerts. It doesn’t make it any less frustrating for us who like his voice so much (his line in butterfly is enchanting) but i think we should take this into consideration when talking about his lines to avoid misinformation spreading out. Also, the members said they distribute the lines themselves, i don’t think they’re giving him few/no lines on purpose. I’ve seen many idols speak about having few lines, some literally admitted they want to get better or improve their korean so they can have more lines, im not saying soul's case doesn’t deserve attention but it’s much more enduring than the cases of those who admitted the opposite of what soul did. Anyways, i obviously hope we can hear him more :D i don’t think he realizes how beautiful his voice is <3
