Thank you this was exactly what I was looking for! I’m going to try it and see how it works for me.

How much vinegar per load??
@Organizing-TV16 сағат бұрын
It really depends on how large a load you're using. You can start by using the same amount of vinegar as you used fabric softener in the past. I generally use up to 100 ml 5% on a large load

Thanks for this tip. I might try it out.. I have small 2oz sprayer bottles with alcohol and they spray a good even mist. But what do you think about putting baby talc powder inside the shoes, to remove cigar smoke smell.. Would this eventually work? I just received a pair of new out of box sneakers that I bought online, and as soon as I removed each shoe out of the bubble mailer each was in, I immediately could smell cigar odor. But they are clearly new sneakers never used. The seller failed to disclose about the cigar smell in the description. But anyway. So since I'm familiar with using baby talc powder in my walking sneakers on an almost daily basis, and it helps keep them relatively odor-free, now I am wondering if this could help remove the cigar smoke smell from the new sneakers I just received... I'm interested in your thoughts. Thanks!

In my area the water is high in manganese. Everything white becomes cream colored over time in the wash.

I'm sorry to hear that! Have you tried using any products to soften the water you use to wash your clothes?

great video :) just to clarify, did you pre-treat in 40C water and then machine wash in 90C water?
@Organizing-TV3 күн бұрын
I'm glad to hear that it was useful :) I ran the washer at 40℃ as that was the temperature the t-shirt tag recommended. Oxygen-based bleach is a little more effective at high temperatures, so I went as high as the garment allowed. Then I did an extra rinse just to make sure that all the cleaning products were rinsed out since we used so much during the process of making the shirt white again

Im an american travelling to norway next week for 3 weeks, what types of footwear should i be bringing?
@Organizing-TV6 күн бұрын
It depends a lot on what you're planning to do here. In 3 weeks we're in the muddle of summer so I'd say unless you're going hiking then regular shoes sneakers or something light should be fine.

Just use a lot less dish soap. Put it in the washer to see how much it suds up before putting clothes in.

Body odor occurs due to bacteria on a person’s skin breaking down protein molecules within sweat and producing odor as a result.Mine was so terrible,But i am happy today because of Dr Amade supplements that i found on KZfaq @DrAmade..I can now work freely with my colleagues without them covering their nose.Thanks Doc

I made the mistake of using fabric softener when I washed my linen with other (cotton) clothes and they came out less soft :/ is there a way to revert the texture to what it was? for example by washing them again but with vinegar instead of fabric softener?

I never wear socks with my shoes. Minus hiking boots. I hate socks. My feet can stink bad enough to clear out a room lol. I have five pairs of vans slip ons and I often rotate them between wearing. Exfoliating and lotion is very helpful. Dr. Organic Tea Tree lotion is my favorite!

Both wash 2 and prewash 1 on my samsung go straight into the drum. (they pour out, no dam in the tray) I cant use liquid detergent for main 2 wash if I want to use both 1 and 2. Which is kind of annoying. This video helped me realize it, so thank you.

Did some research and if you got leather shoes I dont recommend soaking your shoes in alcohol. I am trying to find alternatives to alcohol that kills bacteria. Probably a dose of plants and vegetables maybe?

Hello. I just bought this kind of machine and thinking if i could soak the garments first in a tub overnight then put it in the machine and do a regular wash cycle?
@Organizing-TV19 күн бұрын
Yes you can pause the soak program and let the garments soak as long as you want then start up again when you're ready to do a wash cycle

@Organizing-TV23 күн бұрын
You can probably buy a replacement bag online :) Perhaps you could try stuffing it into a small spare backpack or something that you have laying around until you get a proper bag again? Perhaps a sturdy plastic bag that you tie shut could work too...
